Synopsis

After many trials and tribulations, Iruma Suzuki is finally happily living among demons despite having to hide his true identity as a human. Even more so, he has now found his ambition in life: keep ranking up in this world!

However, that plan is halted when Iruma's club is temporarily dismissed, and he is forced to be part of the student council, known for its strictness toward rowdy students. Its cold-hearted president is Amelie Azazel, Iruma's friend. Although Iruma is not used to following their rigid schedule and many rules, he still wants to prove himself and help Amelie alongside all of the other members of the council.

But trouble arises when Amelie's personality completely changes due to strange circumstances, putting the student council's reputation in jeopardy. Will Iruma be able to save them and avoid having the whole school turn into pure chaos?

I enjoyed every single episode of this season. Humour is great, animation was TOP NOTCH when it needed to be, the story and art style feel really original and refreshing, characters are likeable, sometimes even more than the MC. OP and ED songs may not have been as catchy as the previous season, but they still fit the show pretty well.

With plenty of moments filled with laughs from funny absurdity, to serious atmosphere, to action scenes, to romantic moments with the potential of unleashing waifu wars in forums, both young and veteran viewers will surely find something to enjoy in this show.

Very rarely does an anime live up to the expectation its first season set. In fact, most of the time, the new season is much worse and ruins the whole set up that made the anime special. I'm glad to say that Iruma is one of the best sequels that lives up and even exceeds the expectations set for it.

What I love about Iruma is how the anime isn't focused on 1 character or idea. Focusing on romance at times. Diving into the relationship of the characters at others. Adding more world building elements and setting up the story to more ideas waiting to ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (7/21 eps)
The show overall is a good show to watch for fun. There isn't much character investment compared to other shows like One piece, AOT, and Fumetsu no Anata e. The plot is very vague and generic where there isn't something the watcher is anticipating. However, nothing about the show screams "Don't watch" if you have the time and there isn't anything good on.
I would not recommend it to a friend, however, I don't regret watching the show. The characters are a bit 1-dimensional with little character development in the whole first season. The second season where Iruma gets a character change is very pleasant and ...
