Someone in debt working as a maid/butler at the place of his master (the one he owns the debt) and everything in some harem, romance, comedy style.
If you appreciate maid anime then why try butler,combat butler to be exact i wuldnt say that its better but its pretty similar and a bit "perv-ish" too.did i mention the love triangle rocks!
Maid-Master relationship in HiMM and Butler-Mistress relationship in Hayate, ecchi, comedy (and young girls, for those of you loli lovers xD) It should be noted that Hayate's art is better and has a more powerful seiyuu cast than HiMM.

HiMM looks more similar to HnG! than Kimiga Aruji because of the crazyness and the dynamism it has inside. The development are about the same, butler/maids it's the same battle, and the debt is the reason of having the characters continuing together.
Same problem of the main character having an insanely big debt to their masters, both of them are somewhat in love to their masters, their masters are so rich & lives in an insanely large mansion.

A girl is "hired" by a boy to do some dirty work, just like Haruhi in the beginning of Ouran. Though, He is My Master is a bit more perverted and is the traditional Harem style anime they both have their emotional moments and their hilarious moments :]
well, again here the heroine breaks an expensive vase and have to pay it with work for the "master"
They both have similar feeling to how the main character(s) have to pay off a debt for breaking things. They are forced to work and at first they both are very reluctant but eventually they become comfortable.

Both are typical harems. Bunch of girls like one guy, who just happens to be freaked out by having so many girls like him. Usually can't keep any of them happy for any length of time either.

One has a Brother and Sister and the other has Two Sisters, but they're both running away from their parents. At first the viewer is not shown why they left. But they both end up being maids/butlers for pompous rich folk.
...Hilarity ensues.

Both Anime has the maid and master theme. In both anime the main characters ran away from home. The main characters in both anime become maids to rich masters. He is my master is a bit more of a comedy aproach to the maid anime genre than Kimi ga aruji de shitsuji ga ore de. Both anime are good but I prefer kimi above he is my master.

Both series have a lot in common in a general sense. A young guy gets young maid/s to work for him. Both series were done by Gainax. Also both have a similar sense of humor. While it takes the similar concept as He is My Master, Mahoromatic does ever thing better. Mahoromatic has a far better story, is funnier, and ecchier.

They both share the same theme. one guy and many girls. they're both silly, entertaining, lacking of real plot.
The main characters for both shows are very similar. They get in really "awkward" situations and pretty much every girl has a crush on them. Both shows are very funny. He is My Master contains more ecchi than Seto no Hanayome, but aside from that they're pretty similar in harem comedic fun.

They have a quite similar animation and soundtrack (both are made by SHAFT). In both animes a girl gets under main character's control. Also in boths there are some shojo-ai elements.

Both have a similar humour style - that same random, perverted, and generally crazy funniness is present in both. Also both are harem in a sense, except that in Girls Bravo the main focus is on a guy, whereas in He is My Master, the main focus is on a girl. Chances are if you liked one, you'll like the other.

Koharu Biyori is a more grown up echii series than He is my master but the story is very similar and alike. If you enjoyed one of the series, then you should watch the other one too.
