They both struggle to confess their feelings to the guy their in love with .. mean while someone is struggling to tell her that he loves her ! The stories are really similar to each other and they both talk about confessing while going threw other conflicts .. ^^
Girl confessing her love to boy. Both have same kind of humour.
Girl loves boy, but boy doesnt love girl...
Itazura na Kiss constantly reminded me of Lovely Complex... Though not all the same, the shoujo-type art style is somewhat similar, and of course both anime are love comedies.
The art is the same. And both are about Highschool love and rough roads
Both are about Highschool love.
Both of these anime have the similar high school love comedy aspect to it. What makes both of these anime good is that one-on-one couple, girl chasing the guy aspect. It just focuses on that one relationship instead of a weird complicated love triangle. So if you're into simple, sweet, but dramatic romance i highly recommend you watch this :]
Since the first episode, i was constantly reminded of Lovecom. Think, silly girl wanting to confess her love and fails, the Romance and comedy is aspect is major in both and the girls in both ways are really amusing. It is also similar in ways to see how the male's feeling for the female develop and change.
Both series are the typical shoujo romance, with both sets of main characters not liking each other in the beginning.
Similar shoujo romance series that sets up from high school until graduation.
The both female characters are fighting for their love and they can't let go off anymore.
They have fighting spirits that help them overcome everything. Even if the first time they were "brushed off" by their love, they just continue to be around him and ask him for some things, so they can start liking each other.
And a bit and a bit the feelings are becoming love and the feelings are getting equal.
Sometimes there are truths which have to be overcame by the characters!
Both about girls that love their man no matter how much they get rejectedxD
Both males fail at showing their emotions.
Both females are less than perfect... both are clumsy and have big voices.
Both of these anime have heroines who try very hard to get the boy they like to return their feelings, no matter how many obstacles they come across. Additionally, both of these anime went beyond and delved further into the situations and problems that creep up as a couple (though Itazura na Kiss went on much further along in their relationship).
As is typical with most shoujo, there's a dose of drama along the way- though what these two anime have in common is the fact that these dramas aren't dragged out. They get resolved rather fast and there's a similar sense of warmth that both series give off. Both are light-hearted, with a nice balance between comedy, drama, and general sweetness in their romance.
Itazura na kiss reminded me Lovely Complex when I watched it. Also the kind of comedy is similar.
If you liked Itazura Na Kiss then it's impossible for you not to appreciate Lovely Complex, a realy good anime full of love and fun..you will surely enjoy every epiosode!
They are similar in plot (I wont give out information because it would just ruin it, *hint* when its confession time). Itazura has Comedy but compared to lovely complex it is more serious.
Both hilarious and crazy romantic comedy about students. Very similar in plot

Characters and story are very similar; however, the mood and pace of the show is quite different, as well as the animation style. If you enjoy Special A, you will probably enjoy Itazura na Kiss.
They both have a girl who isnt in the top. Except that she's in F-Class and he's in A-Class.
They both have a girl who isnt in the top.
Both shows contain a male lead who are geniuses and can memorize things after seeing it once, they both contain a girl that are below them academically and both have a great mix of comedy and romance
Both of them have a main girl who isn't the best. They are quite similar, but in Special A the comedy is on a higher level unlike Itazura na Kiss. Although Itazura na kiss is not much of a comedy, it is the better romance. I recommend both of them
They are both really great anime's with the same kind of romance feel. Both female protagonists and both male protagonists resemble another a lot, and i just loved watching both of these. If you liked Special A you will deffinetly like Itazura na Kiss. !! I absolutley love both of them!
Itazura na Kiss and Special A both have the "cute-klutz" heroine in both the animes. Both are heart warming and very funny. Special A includes romance, but has much more comedy than Itazura na Kiss, and is therefore directed more towards younger audiences, whereas Itazura na Kiss is sweet, but is the "slice of life" style.
I recommend both, if you liked one, you are bound to like the other.

The main character is also a female student, whole initially has a rough start with the male lead.
Two very similar series. The boy is the school idol, perfect in almost everything. The girl falls in love, and many funny things happen. High school romance at it's best!
It's all about romance, drama and comedy, it keeps you wondering whats going to happen next, how the boy and girl are gonna get togheter, and the best part: it keeps you hoping for the couples to finnaly get together!!
the first thing i thought when watching this was Kare Kano.
extremely smart male lead and, differing from Kare Kano, a not so bright girl. they clash and give a very similar feel to KK. if you liked KK then you'll defintely like Itazura na Kiss.
Both show are underrated in every aspect and deserve more attention.
The beginning for these anime it is almost identical, there is a super girl (Kare Kano) and there is a super guy (Itazura na Kiss)
In 1st it keeps a secret that she loves attention and by that does all good that it once again have praised, but in one day to it the guy home comes, and she in "Not front door " with With a wild hair meets him and that it has not given publicity (that it such sloven), to it to have to fulfil its commissions...
In 2nd, it the super guy the lady's man for little girls with severe character, refuses to the girl such form, but his father and the father of that girl the best friends (if I will be mistaken that forgive) is then clarified that...
The total of these anime to start so that the guy and the girl in given аниме have got acquainted well in very nasty position (in the second case is available in view of about a life in one house) and so the given history about love ^ __ ^ starts

The main character is female and not as refined as the male lead and initially not as serious as he is. She eventually makes the male lead have feelings for her and end up together.
Both lead charcters are the same. Female characters are free spirited beings who are not ashamed to show their affection for the male leads. Both Male leads are those cool types who likes to hide their true feelings.
The character are very similar, somewhat identical. Male lead being the cool and perfect type, while the female lead is high spirited...
it is similar by the relationship between the two lead characters
--both the girls are totally inlove with a guy who's really rich and popular
--both the girls seems idiot but really has something inside her~
--[the guys are both cold hearted!]--
--the flow of the stories pretty much up.
Again, a girl chasing a guy who, despite his full knowledge, constantly brushes her off and finds her very annoying. I also found this very, very amusing! Check it out!

The fact that they show a couple´s life before marriage and through marriage it´s common in this animes. if you like to see what happens after the "happily ever after" watch it. xD
Both involves adult, marriage life of the male and female characters, with the exception of how the plot flows.
both deal with love life of adults, clannad follows the characters as they are in school and in the after story their life as adults, itazura na kiss also follows the characters life , while it is less dramatic and dosnt have a similar art style it is also enjoyable and has its sad moments.both have a bit of good comedy.
I'm most definitely NOT comparing Itazura na Kiss to the legendary Clannad series. It is a sin to do so.
But the story is somewhat similar. Both high school students get married, and their 'after marriage' story is shown. Both husband and wife face perils and soon have a baby. The plot is somewhat similar, but Clannad is much, MUCH more than just a simple plot. It's a world of extreme emotion, dedication, love and bonds. It's a sad world.
Compared to it, Itazura can be laughed off. Itazura is not a serious series unlike Clannad.
Those who've watched Itazura but not Clannad...see the magnanamous difference between the two series with a similar plot, and get a box of tissues ready as well.
Those who've watched Clannad already...well, Itazura's a good joke.
both anime talks ablouts life after School/Marriage, the obstacles they face ..

overly energetic female protagonists, having huge mood swings (from hating to loving the guy, or vice versa) so over the top strategies to achieve what want. old school predictable storyline, and similar humour.
Skip beat and Itazura na kiss are both Romantic comedies that will leave you wanting for more. Heartthrobbing and sweet moments are definitely to wiggle and giggle for. Both guys in the series are really in demand and wanted bishounens by their all-out female admirers.
both main femaile charachters are strong willed, interesting, funny and amazing. Boh main male characters are handsome but cold guys, untill their codness goes away, thanks to our heroines. Both are incredible, both girls have one-sided love at the beginning. U won't regret watching it!
IT CONTAINS HARD WORK TO GO TO YOUR GOAL AND GET WAT YOU WANT AND THEIR BOTH FUN TO WATCH AND INTERESTING

Both main girl charecter have to live in the same house with a handsome-smart-cold guy..
very recommended ^_^
slice of life, romance. similar plot, though more consistent.
the both .. talk about living with another family
These are both about two teens that cant stand eachother moving in together (because of their parents!) And learning how to cope with eachother

Anyone that think this is going to be great would watch this too
One of the best shojo titles
If you like Bokura ga Ita then u will like Itazura na kiss.. that is unless your looking for it to be a quicker romance like bokura
Bokura ga Ita and Itazura na Kiss are great comparisons because the underlying personalities are similar, at times their situations are too, but they pry apart in very healthy ways, making both anime's recognizable in emotions to the viewer, but unique enough that the viewer may want to keep watching.
Bokura ga Ita and Itazura na Kiss both feature a female lead with larger than life hopes and dreams. They have this glittery sense of love and affection that usually leads them to be highly emotional and intensely devoted to the person they care about. Both anime's also feature male leads who are incredibly inept at expressing their emotions and needs. Misunderstandings bounce around everywhere, and lifes confusing twists make these both very interesting anime's to watch.
What I enjoy most about them is that they aren't completely cardboard cut outs of previous animes, they don't replicate a past story. They also hold a bit of truth to them (despite some random situational circumstances). The differences also come with the time progression, the animation styles. Bokura ga Ita has a few scenes that seem to literally pull themselves out of a misty winters day dream. Itazura na Kiss is more reminiscent of sunflowers and spring. (If you're an imaginative person, when you see them, you'll see what I mean).
Really great animes, both are worth watching for the sake of twisting your own tummy into a knot and going "wtf!? awww why can't life be more like that"

Itazura timeline is longer but you almost get the same feeling out of both of these series
Both are about unrequited love and changing a person's feelings with the power of loooooooove ;-). Also they have a similar art style and humor and are about the same length!
They are both similar because of the "Love triumphs over all" concept the story gives out.
The comedy in both animes share the same concept too. "If the scene needs funny then it gets funny".

comedy, school life, girl chase boy, need i say any more?
The main character-Kotoko-reminds me of Tuskamoto Tenma: they're wacky personalities and how they try to get the attention of the boy they love
|
|
|
They are both about love between to different kind of lifestyle
Two people falling in love. Boy (Rich Family) with a Girl (Not so rich). Basically a story that shows how they came to be and the struggles they go through. -Mixture/Confusion about different feelings such as Hatred, Love, and Jealousy.

Great romance stories. You get to watch the relationships develop over time. However Itazurna na kiss is all about the relationship and family dynamic while for Toshokan the romance is just one aspect of it. Toshokan has also comedy and action.
So overall witty and lovable characters, great stories, nice artwork..

Hanasakeru Seishounen is more serious than Itazura na kiss but they have the same shoujo style
|
|
|
Basic similarity: Both animes have a main character female that is cared for by a lot of guys, but one guy is particularly cold to her. La corda has a bit of corniness, with the fairy and all, whereas Itazura is on a somewhat more realistic scale. The lead male, cold and cool, are brilliant and the best at whatever they do (pretty typical), and though have cold exteriors, have kind hearts. One big difference: Itazura has a relationship evolve.

Has the familiar love and romance

These two anime seem to give off the same emotions. If you've seen Itazura na Kiss you'll like this one as well

|
|
a romance anime similar to HAKUSHAKU TO YOUSEI
|
|
|
thing that makes them similar is the girl moves into the guys house
|
|
|
Both of the Main male characters act like they dont care about the main female but yet will protect them the second she is in trouble. Both romantic. Although Itazura na Kiss is so much more longer then Mitsu x Mitsu Drops but still good.

Kotoko and Seara are very look-alike, they both live in the same house as the guys them love, and both guys have a younger sibling. Also, initially neither guy are interested in them, but their relationship develops throughout the show.

Both anime are about REAL life. There is no magic, no cliche plot lines, just real life drama and relationships. Toradora has more comedy and less time skips, but it relates to Itazura na Kiss very well. Both show the growing relationships between two people by use of schooling and living together. If you liked InK you'll definitely love Toradora~!

|
both have the girl loves boy, girl persistantly chases after boy. Styles are both different but same basic concept. while itazura na kiss is more romantic and rizelmine is more on the lighter side.

If you liked Peach Girl, you will most certainly LOVE Itazura na Kiss. First off, both the main females have orange hair, and the main males have silvery hair. Some of the characters seem to mirror eachother in a way. They're not entirely similar, but close enough.
Momo = Kotoko
Sae = Yuuko
Okayasu = Kinnosuke
Toji = Irie
Momo is like Kotoko because of how they feel for the main guy, then Toji and Irie are similar because they both seem to completely ignor the main female at first. Okayasu and Kinnosuke both have feelings for the main female and dislike the man the female is in love with. Sae and Yuuko both seem to want the main male, and have quarrels with the main female, but become friends in the end or half way through.
The beginning of each story is quite similar as well. Both start off with regular high school life, and both female leads have been crushing on the main male for a few years without being noticed by them. They both end up going out with said male after awhile. While Peach Girl only goes as far as high school life, Itazura na Kiss goes as far as after high school, to college, to marriage, to having a child between the two mains.
The only other difference is that in Peach Girl, Momo leaves Toji for Okayasu in the end, as to where Kotoko stays with Irie and lives a happy life instead of going out with Kinnosuke.
