SynopsisZenryoku Usagi are hardworking construction builders — who happen to be rabbits — with a simple motto: "Zenryoku+Dai-ichi" ("Give everything you've got and be #1.") The animated shorts are scheduled to air in Japan within the Chibi Ani Gekijō (Tiny Anime Theater) program on Friday or Saturday mornings, depending on the station. Ikeda and Media Factory have created two books and numerous spinoff goods featuring the characters.

Damekko Doubutsu and Zenryoku Usagi are both kids' anime, with episodes less than ten minutes long. They share many of the same humorous points, too: both have comically useless protagonists who are always getting picked on by more confident (if no less odd) supporting characters, both contain just a tidbit of drama to even out the comedy, and of course, both feature cute animals. Anyone who liked one will probably enjoy the other.
