Synopsis

Hal and Bons are a pair of beer drinking slacker dogs. They are joined on their sofa by an anthropomorphic rice cake by the name of Mochi who first interviews them and then decides to give up being an interviewer and move in with them instead. Hal and Bons have mixed feelings about this turn of events - Mochi tastes great but he's rather lacking in social skills and he's starting to smell...

Mixed Feelings

Hal & Bons is a CGI animated anime, about a riceball(?) interviewing two lazy-ass dogs that do nothing else but drinking beer and watching tv.

With that said, I said everything I could actually say about it, there's nothing more to it.

The characters are good enough, the dogs are just normal, while the riceball (Mochi) is hyper, can't do his job right and doesn't have any patience. This doesn't mix with the dogs right, so it takes awhile before the interview is completed.

The animation is poor, no, dreadful, so is the art, the mouths of the dogs and Mochi are just plain ugly, and animation even ...

Well I didnt really know what to expect when i watched this. based on the first episode alone i thought it was rather unique. kinda weird characters (especially the talking mochi). But my initial response to this CG show was rather decent. but..... it got old fast.

Story: Well there really isnt a story. the 3 characters sit/stand on a couch and talk about random things. some comments were funny but overall it got really old really fast.

Art: Hmm well the CG was kinda half-heartedly put together. there really isnt a whole lot of motion to speak of. essentially you dont need to even look at ...
