The male leads are expected to serve the female leads but are often unsatisfactory though they are proven to have hidden capabilities later on. The female leads are tsundere characters, while the male leads both develop attachments and become loyal to the females. Both the shows are of the fantasy genre. And the plots basically have the same "band-together-to-defeat-the-forces-of-evil" type of theme, but aren't really very similar. They both also have fanservice.

These two animes are similar, because their plots and characters are somewhat the same in the sense that they both involve a male, main character, that ends up protecting a vampire girl, and ultimately fighting along side her. Moon phase is the cute side, while Shingetsutan Txukihime is a little more violence, than it is cat ears.

Both contain vampires, enough said. The art in these to animes is absolutly georgous. Good plots, secret loves, full Moons, and sexy vampires, are what makes these two animes so similar. Very unique.

Similarities are :A"strange" young girl entrancing a boy in both anime , many shots are similar as i believe they have the same director, both towards the gothic type of anime (Petit Cossette being more)also the main boys both work in antique shop.

Because they are both directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and produced by studio SHAFT, they are very similar in style. -MOON PHASE- has a young girl who makes a pact with an older guy and the story focuses on vampires. In Negima!?, it's a young male who makes pacts with his older female students, there’s only one vampire, and emphasis is put most on the magical incantations. However, each series shares similar elements and has a serious gothic tone; yet at times they can be very cute and even slightly romantic. Not to mention both are VERY funny! In fact, the running gag with the falling pan from -MOON PHASE- occurs a few times in Negima!?
