similar genres. both have fighting styles that are "super powerful" and the story is similar

both involve samurai but the stories are different. Samurai Champloo involves comedy and Shura no Toki has historical events.

Both involve strong male characters who fight around the same time and place. Shura no Toki main character focuses only on mute combat (hands only) while Blade of the immortal main character focuses on many different kinds of weapons. Both Main Charactes want to protect.

These are both samurai anime taking place in the same era. I think they're pretty similar because of the fights and action freeze. The series are both really detailed and put a lot of importance on one-on-one duels.

Both of these animes are based on fighters. If u like fighting and action in an anime, then u will love these two. Shura no toki is based on the time of samurais, when on the other hand tenjou tenge is more like modern fighting + a little fantasy added to it.

If you like Ryo and interested in that historical period then try Shura no Toki. The 3d arc of SnT describes life and death of Sakamoto Ryoma more clearly

similar genres. the only difference is that Sengoku Basara involves super powers. while Shura no Toki keeps it simple.

These series both have a simple plot line and include battles within midevil worlds without too much exageration with the exception of abilities. The slow fighting styles are also similar.

The main characters who fight in these animes have one thing in common: Nothing can stop them, They force their way forward.

Both titles feature invincible protagonists who fight with their bare hands. Difference is that One Punch Man is funny, Shura no Toki is not.

These two Anime are set around the same time period of a certain age of war and chaos.Their primary characters portray the image of being the bearers of a supernatural power that only themselves or their own clans are able to naturally inherit. Another point to note is that Shura no Toki's main character(s) resemble the easy-going, joyfully spirited 'good half' of SDK's main duo combination. The OP & ED songs are pretty similar in the genre to suit the Anime. One more aspect to mention is that the openings of both Anime give a short briefing of the main plot just before the opening  read more

A shonen anime about samuria, which are good if you can't get ninjas. An awesome anime that has three story arcs. I revolves around the Mutsu clan who fight using an unarmed style called Mutsu Enmei Ryū. It has some nice battles, although they are more focused on sword play than hand to hand(the other characters are swordsmen).

Martial arts, both animes a must to watch for anyone that likes martial arts, or a hand to hand fighting style.

Both main characters only want to fight with their bare hands. They both want to become stronger and well known with their fighting techniques.

Time period is around the same, animation and character designs. Both follow a hero character's journey. Action isnt about ridicilous magic powers but instead they have well choreographed fight scenes revolving close combat and swordfighting

They both contain action, martial arts, samurai, and same historical events. A lot of the characters (historical background characters) are used in both animes. The only difference is the main characters and their pertaining story-lines within their own animes. Though Shura no Toki has three story-lines with separate main characters.

Peace maker dont have the romance element but it surely has close ties with last phase of Shura no Toki.In peace maker" Shinsugemi_Assassins" are the centre point. Same anime style and same history covered.....
