Both Junjou and Kirepapa are great Yaoi series...the art work is beautiful and the characters are hot!
In both series there is a boy x boy relationship.
Now, we should go to the summary...Even, if one man can't admit liking another, he still falls in love with him, but he can't say it. He wouldn't even know that the other person likes boys too. But even that, they still end up liking each other and have a relationship later...
Shounen-ai. BoyxBoy. The stuff, you know.
But that's not the only way the two anime are similiar.
They're handling a pairing (well, Junjo Romantica handles 3 pairings, but I'm talking baout the MAIN pairing) with a huge age different.
Also, they have a lot of comedy elements and contain a lot of chibis/SDs.
Both series are to do with boyxboy relationships. In both series there is a big age difference between the couples. Also if one guy loves the other, the other guy falls back in love with him.
Both have nice art with great use of color. Both also have very attractive guys and light but enjoyable humor.
Its great the couples have a great story and its sweet
Yaoi and a hilarious plot.

shounen ai animes with great comedy moments, both stories spin around very smexy "papa" and his sweet young son
Both stories revolve around a good looking papa and they are really funny. If you liked Kirepapa, I totally recommend Papa to Kiss in the Dark.
Yaoi theme. Incest. Pretty papas and sons. A sense of humor. Similarity: ***
Both are to do with beautiful fathers. And both relationships revolve around a son/school boy falling in love with their father.
~ OVAs where one is inlove with his father and the other way around.
Kirepapa deals with a over protective father hindering any man that make a pass to his son due to its lovable cuteness. Chisato being unaware that his son's classmate Shunsuke have feeling for him complicates things since he thought his Riju was interested in him.
Papa to Kiss in the Dark on the other hand is about mutual understanding between father and son. Look incestuous. *shifty eyes* There's also the deal with his father remarrying his co-star that saddens Mira very well. Plus his childhood friend falling in love with him. This ova is more graphic than Kirepapa not certainly for children.
Read the manga to know the series better.
Both strangely similar, but strangely the same.
Even though both are different in terms of relationship status and such, if you switch the two main Protegés around, you can see the resemblance in character and emotion.
both are ova's, both are yaoi, both have a good story nd both have hot charcters ^^

Both are great manga that have been made into OVA's. If you liked either one of these OVA's I guarantee that you will like the other one as well.

Barring the obvious yaoi linkage, these two shows feature a protagonist who falls for an awesome guy "friend" before they know it. Also, they are made by the same animation team so the artwork is really similar. However Kirepapa is lighter than the Ikoku Irokoi and doesn't have some annoying woman gumming up the works.
