Military!: Tamatama Shoumetsu Suru Shiroki Hikari!

Here is my review of this anime in 2022!

Story (8)
The story is still funny as always but it is too short for 1 OVA episode. I think it will be better if there are 2-4 OVA episode.

Art (8)
The art for this anime is great. It still matches with the series which has no changes in every aspect. But I still love it!

Sound (8)
All the sounds that they used are really good and adjusted to the animation.

The main character is memorable but sadly there is no new characters...

It's enjoyable to watch this movie in 2022.

Recommended to those who love comedy and chibi art with military vibes.

Story:
A comedy doesn't need a story, but a comedy does need to be funny. So, in that regard, it's okay for this not to have a story. However, nothing particularly unique or eventful happens here to create a set up for a joke in any way, shape, or form, therefore, it fails to be funny. If a comedy has neither a story nor anything funny to offer, then it fails entirely. I understand that this OVA is 2 minutes long, but there were events in the previous season that were used in less time to create chuckle-worthy sequences.

That said, if someone likes ecchi content, then ... maybe they'll find this enjoyable? To me, it's merely offensive to have ecchi for the sake of ecchi, and this definitely was just ecchi for the sake of itself, so it's really just a waste of 2 minutes.

However, I won't complain. Finishing out a series is what I enjoy doing. Whether the series is good or not doesn't particularly matter to me, but I do recognize quality when I see it (at least, I like to think I do.)


Art:
Similar to the show, the art is fine here. I did think one part was poorly animated, but it's a split-second transition so it doesn't really matter.


Sound:
Again, sufficient. Everything is dandy, here.


Character:
Their character doesn't matter. It's just place-holders doing things because reasons.


Enjoyment:
Boring, offensive, a waste of time.
