Okay, guys! I wanted to re-do this review too, since I finished this series some time ago.

Night Wizard in no way a great anime. But it somehow ended up as one of my favorites and for one little reason: it's so simple. The plot is a straight forward one that is reminiscent of older anime where Yandere characters were but a far, far away thing and loli was not a genre of anime. Where it was the hero versus the bad guy on a mystical quest. Night Wizard is exactly that.

The art in Night Wizard, although sometimes inconsistent (although quite rarely), is very nice. While the character designs are somewhat generic, they are done nicely and with style so that you read more

Plot: The story of Night Wizard is pretty much straight forward and builds with each episode. The story starts out with a girl who needs to save the word by collecting seven mystical jewels but gets more interesting as the show goes on.

Art: The art for the show is really well done both for the characters and the backgrounds as well. Also the fight scenes are animated really well too.

Sound: The voice actors done a great job showing the emotions and personalities of the characters.

Character: The characters in this show are good and each of them has their own personality and motivations for what they read more

Laohoam- This anime came at a coincidentally bad timing. after finishing an anime that started off somewhat similar to this one and it made me slightly doubt it. After a few episodes it is easy to differentiate them, and I have to say that this one is a lot better then it. The plot is developed well enough that if you stick with it you will get a nice connection between the characters, and how they develop throughout the story. At first I thought it would be somewhat predictable as well, even as far as to make predictions on how read more

Anime: 11eyes
the crimson(red) night? The moon? the heroine? it's obvious. Yuka and Elis have similar personalities and how the male protagonist protects the female heroine....The magic are quite similar in a way, except that 11eyes is more newer with it's character design and animation compared to Night wizard, but you'll like both!

Anime: Fate/stay night
Both animes involves magic and fighting. The main protagonist of Fate/Stay Night is somewhat similar to Hiiragi, both having problems with certain women^^. Although Fate/Stay Night is more on the serious side, you'll like it.

Anime: Erementar Gerad
Both play out like a RPG converted into anime.

Anime: Uta Kata
Both anime are collecting jewels or stones (whatever!) to accomplish their mission and they are able to get it every episode!

Anime: Shakugan no Shana
It's a bit of a stretch, but both shows are half fantasy/shounen and half harem/romance, and they both throw in a few epic battles and shocking plot twists that no one could see coming.

Anime: Toaru Majutsu no Index
Both have a relatively normal, academic underachiever high school boy with supernatural abilities having to protect a mysterious girl with a mysterious power who is introduced at the beginning of the show. There are plenty of other secondary characters in the show, some of whom are good and some of whom are evil, who have unique powers of their own. The two shows have an extremely similar feel to them.
