Dragon Drive

they're similar to me. 'cause when i was watching dragon drive, it somehow reminds me of pokemon. since both anime have trainer and a partner.

Has the same feel as pokemon. Characters fight other characters using dragon like creatures
main character has a dragon called chibi who is small and cute and is really strong like Ashes pokemon

this is similar to dragon drive becaus a boy gets sucked into a world were you ride spiders but in dragon drive you ride dragons. both main character try geting stronger to fight evil and both animes have the same feel.

I've enjoyed both of these animes quite well. Dragon drive is about several friends adventuring with their dragons soaring through the sky. Legendz also has a main cast of characters who are close friends adventuring around with the Legendz, where several of them are dragons as well.
If you like dragons and adventuring with in-depth storylines then you should most certainly give this a chance.

In both anime the main character is introduced to a brand new world/game by the female. Both are also interesting in their own ways and I'm sure if you like one you will like the other.

They both have a male protagonist who seems to have untapped potential that summons something incredibly strong.

the will of being the strongest or the best in SOMETHING is always an good ambition wether to be a Martial arts fighter ( HxH) or the best champion the virtual world has ever seen and beyond (Dragondrive)

Having a similar concept but monster rancher is far better executed and has a stronger selection of characters overall. the monsters are much more in depth since they are each given personality's and the ability to talk as well as battle.

i also found the main character was more enjoyable than in dragon drive since he was more energized and humerus.It also has a much more gripping journey and better bad guys. It's just a lot more fun to watch but there essentially at the core the same type of show.

i think if you like dragon drive your going to love monster rancher since its a standard above dragon drive.

the main character plays a game
he then was teleported to a dimension with the same concept as the game
he finds out that he needs to save that world

This anime feels similar to Shaman King. They both are about fighting with a partner (but it's slightly different because in Dragon Drive its with a dragon but Shaman King is with spirit). Both main characters seem similar also. Yoh is pretty similar to Reiji, they have a similar carefree attitude. (Their personalities are pretty different though).

Both are about boys who go into something that starts off as and illiousion. Then they get stuck in another world. They have freinds who help them in almost everything. The boys both can be smart ( the one in Dragon Drive when he wants to).

If you liked this anime, then you might possibly like this other one, (Dragon Drive/Bakugan depending on where you are)
Both animes are about some sort of battling with creatures, (all different sorts for Bakugan and Dragons in Dragon Drive) and starts out as a game but later on it's discovered that this so-called game is more than it appears.
