Both of these animes just have plain crazy-messed up storylines, but delivered in a nicely comedic package with lots of uncalled for violence. Enjoy! =)

A metropolitan setting with deformed characters who want to be caricatures of society. The unrealistic and trippy feeling is quite the same.

Both have a cool fluid art style, silly but still likable characters and adrenaline pumping action scenes. If you think about it both stories are kind of stupid, but they are very entertaining...

It’s remarkable and a blessing that such refreshingly unique anime movies can share so many similarities. Loveable low-life protagonist buddies on the run after trouble finds them, modern seedy urban setting, badass action scenes driven by aggressive electronic soundtracks that make you lean forward in your seat with a smile on your face, bizarre characters and plot elements, violence nudity and language worthy of an R-rating, and most of all, excellent animation and pure style that throw all anime tropes and conventions out the window. Awesome Korean animated films.

Odd art, odd story, well made animation, and a sorta open ending. Either way, you can't look away from the screen.

If you love fighting, cyborgs, profanity, and an amply-bosomed young woman in the storyline, these'll both do just fine.

Both have adult themes, brief references to Western shows and movies, and are generally hilarious.

They are both crazy and spontaneous. However, Aachi & Ssipak is for adults only, so I do not advice watching it if you still go to kindergarten. If you're eager to get acquainted with modern experimental animation and can't wait till you grow up, FLCL was made just for you (then your brains will later survive through A&S.. perhaps...)
