The Important part about Genmukan is the plot and it's mystery. Past that, it's only Adequate in the other categories.

Story:7. It's a mystery, following a Detective at an old mansion. As he starts to work through the case, things get complicated. It's not too deep, but it gives a good Mystery feel to it. Nothing dramatic in terms of the mystery, but the story is consistent with it's feel.

Art:6. Nothing too flash. It's not amazing, but it gives enough detail.

Sound:6. Not too fancy. Special effects sound right, and the voice actors give their characters some feeling, though it might read more

My 3rd hentai review and I'll score this a 7.

This was one of the recommended animes and I was interested to know how a mystery plot would go with hentai. And surprisingly enough, it was not too bad.

Characters: Kidou (the detective), Ayano (the mistress of the house), 3 more girls and 1 old butler. I would not go into detail since it would not really matter.

Story: Mr Detective gets an assignment regarding a missing ring. This is supposed to be an important heirloom and they need to find it asap. Hmmm... so where's the mystery? It sounds like a typical hentai to me. So as read more

Anime: Fault!!
Similar character designs. Another great by the famed artist Tony Taka.

Anime: Kao no nai Tsuki
Maids, it's all about the maids! But seriously, these two titles can go together so well because of their similar themes. It's like they're set in the same world, but only different mansions! Genmukan's character designs were done by the infamous Tony Taka, while Moonlight Lady's animation and art is way beyond a lot of hentai out there. If you've got a thing for maids, these are for you!

Anime: Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro
Fans of Tony Taka's releases will find a good screening with either Genmukan or Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro. Both capture Tony's excellent character design and flow smoothly in both animation and story. Despite their differences in plot structure, both come off highly recommened to Tony Taka fans.
