Ikkitousen is the same genre of anime as Tenjou Tenge. They both are heavily based on the martial arts and ecchi genre with a bit of the superpower genre tossed in as well. Although Ikkitousen has more ecchi and a proper ending.

Ikkitousen is a cheap rip off of Tenjou Tenge with more ecchi, if that's possible. Tenjou Tenge is definitely a better anime, and more serious.
If you like Tenjou Tenge because of its super smash brawling action, courtesy of Nagi and the Natsume sisters, then Ikkitousen's Sonsaku Hakufu and her subordinates won't disappoint you.

Fighting and fanservice!
Ikkitousen is the raunchier of the two, though.
Both take place in high schools where marshal arts are the center of all things. Also, the characters in both series posses supernatural powers that enhance their marshal arts.
These two are a couple of maybe the best fighting anime of all times.
The settings are similar - high school with martial arts/fighting focus. There's a lot of action, drama, and fanservice, although I personally would recommend Tenjho Tenge over Ikki Tousen simply because it has better fight scenes.
School Life, Comedy , Ecchi , Fights all looks the same ;p
Both are filled with tons of ecchi, "high school" kids fighting each other over respect and territory, and tons of girls with over the top... well you know. In the end, while Ikkitousen seems to focus on fan service and nothing else, Tenjou Tenge actually has a story worth paying attention to, as well as characters that don't have stereotypical personalities.
This is pretty much the same anime to me but Tenjou Tenge was way better. You should still enjoy this one though if you like Tenjou Tenge as it is the same type of fighting and theory in the anime.

The main girl in both series are also clueless about a lot of things but having good skills in the art of combat.

Seems to have the same backstory. Ikkitousen uses the Romance of the three kingdom, while Samurai Girls uses the Sengoku period of Japan. Also plenty of Fan service in both.

Similar on the fact that the names have to do with the other and some of the fight scenes are similar and is a Historical anime
Both anime are somehow based ot the novel "Romance of the three kingdoms". In both you can find hot kick-ass babes. It's fun to watch it. If you like one of them you'll the other too.

Fighting,Echii goodness in a school where teachers are nowhere to be found, filled with boys on steroids and girls that look like they just came fresh out of a brothel.Makes you wonder if they really are underage.
In both, students at a school are made to fight. Mostly girl's, and the guys are either at the head of command or are made to assist the women. Both have extreme ecchi, which doesn't faze me, but as a warning.

Both series are distorting two literary classics. Miyuki-chan in Wonderland the two works of Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass) and Ikkitousen the Chinese classic 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms'.
Miyuki is well reflected in the intent of referring to books, while in Ikkitousen is just one mension that is heard only rarely.

Obviously there are differences, for example Ikkitousen is a heavy fanservice show while Ookami-san is not. But both have this school rivalry thing going on as well as several battles/confrontations which overall gives you a similar vibe. In other words if you can stand fanservice you should like Ikkitousen and, if you first watched Ikkitousen, then if you can stand the lack of fanservice then you should enjoy Ookami-san.

In my opinion, that's what Ikkitousen should've been. Re-telling of famous war periods (the Three Kingdom era for Ikkitousen and the Sengoku era for Sengoku Basara). Different factions that beat the crap out of each other but with LOTS of action and more exciting fights in the case of Sengoku Basara.
However, there's not as much fanservice as in Ikkitousen. And Sengoku Basara is pretty much GAR and over the top.

Great Guardians is the third season, you could say, of Ikkitousen.

Both anime's are about girl fighting (martial arts with some super power), and it's school against school. Our heroines are fighters but they don't fight with the intent of killing someone. Ikkitousen already has 4 seasones and it's quite possible there will be 5th, while Natsuki Crisis is only a 2 episode OVA and has that nice old school animation.
