Synopsis

The Red Dragon Emperor, Issei Hyoudou, and the Occult Research Club are back in action as summer break comes for the students of Kuoh Academy. After their fight with Issei’s sworn enemy, Vali and the Chaos Brigade, it is clear just how inexperienced Rias Gremory's team is. As a result, she and Azazel lead the club on an intense training regime in the Underworld to prepare them for the challenges that lie ahead.

While they slowly mature as a team, Issei will once again find himself in intimate situations with the girls of the Occult Research Club. Meanwhile, their adversaries grow stronger and more numerous as they rally their forces. And with the sudden appearance of Loki, the Evil God of Norse Mythology, the stage is set for epic fights and wickedly powerful devils in High School DxD BorN!

It's the third season of High School DxD. You know what you're gonna get.

There were a couple cool scenes outside of the cesspool of ecchi content the show tries to drown you in. If you've been a fan of the plot and characters to this point, you won't be disappointed with this season. If you were a fan of OPPAI and just watched the show because you're a pathetic degenerate, you will still be satisfied by this season, but admittedly it takes a step back in order to attempt to further the actual plot.

Sometimes less is more, and here, more is less.

Season 3 is bad, while it doesn't have some of the issues that Season 2 had, it has a host of new issues, which are arguably worse.

The problem with BorN is the story, too many elements are thrown into the mix, too many things are going on at once, which makes for an unfocused mess. Because it is a non-stop series of events, with so much being thrown at you, and so many new things being brought in, there is little time to really develop any of it, so there is no real depth here.
