wow what a series stumbled upon this on a whim. the imagination of the older sister is way to funny. the lack of self awareness is comical. like she just won't admit to herself that she is the one with the sibling complex. because of this ova I definitely plan on reading the manga to discover more hilarious antics. the story was pretty simple to follow along with. while some parts were predictable as I see it its not always the destination but the journey taken to get to the end that is most fun. one of the many reasons I enjoy works of Japanese ... writers more than western ones these days because they are able to tell better stories.

Why, you say? Well here are some reasons: Number one, the onee-san's brocon fetish is soothing and enjoyable. Her little bro Akira said he'd marry her when they were wee kids (don't question that: this is Japan, and marriage proposals among siblings are ubiquitous at that age, no matter how strange it may seem to your American/European ears. Check your privilege and embrace wondrous cultural diversity, you filthy imperialist swine!) and this made her very happy. BUT THEN! ... She finds out that they're blood related! (lol) and that blood siblings cannot marry in Japan, according to Article 734 of the Civil Code (double lol). Of course she checked!! She's a dutiful onee-san in love, after all. So now she's "given up" and tries to check his lascivious tendencies at every turn. She is very successful at curbing his, because they don't exist, but fails completely in curbing her own.

Number two: The subtitles are FANTASTIC. They will provide endless hours of wholesome entertainment as you try to puzzle over what's really being said. Did onee-san mean "How terrible," or was she talking about terrifying prostitutes? Embrace your inner weeb, learn some anime Japanese, and unravel the mysteries!

Number three: Onee-san's growing love for her little brother takes many fun and enjoyable forms: giving him her bathwater to drink, showering him with violent and embarrassing affection, and staying awake at nights in horror at the thought of him getting a nice normal gf who'll make him bentos and walk home with him from school. Is this yandere stalker creepy? NO! Romance at its finest! don't take my word for it just dive in and see!

Number three point five: Onee-san is a BOMBSHELL as only onee-sans can be (you know the type). Think Aki from Aki-Sora with black hair, except WAY hotter (AHEM this does not mean I have seen Aki-Sora, which is only for degenerate scum). With such artistic greatness, how can we look away? You can't. It's fanservice of the purest, wholesomest variety.

This is a 3 part ova about older sister who thinks that her brother is a dangerous pervert that is in love with her. As you can see from the premise, it is a comedy.

Story: 5/10

As you can see it is a comedy, and it mostly revolves around main character coming up with a new absolutely ridiculous delusion about something her brother "is planning" to do. This usually results in a long over the top monologue with a few images for illustrative purposes. The story managed to make me chuckle couple of times, but it is not stellar. It revolves around one kind of gag, ... pretty much, but waiting for the heroine to snap into one of the delusional rants is kinda amusing - because those moments are not very predictable. Still, it could be better.

Art: 6/10: Actually, I liked character designs. They're drawn as adult or older teens, with realistic proportions, and their designs are visually appealing. So, it is much better than, say, recently watched "Saipu" (which wasn't that good). The anime uses quite a few time saving techiniques, of course, but overall it looks fairly well.

Sound: 5/10: nothing to say about this one, pretty much. Music does its job, but does not stand out. Heroine goes a bit over the top with her acting on occasion, but it is good.

Characters: 5/10 Due to short length and nature of the show, there's not much time for them to show much of their personality, and overall they're mostly caricatures with a few hints of something more. They're not completely unbelievable caricatures, hwoever.

Enjoyment: 5/10 - It was alright. As I said, the anime resulted in a chuckle or two, but it was not a masterpiece material.

Overall: 5/10 - worth a watch, but don't expect too much. It is visually appealing, and not TOO silly with its jokes.
