Both have energetic young guys as their protagonists, and both are of a specific theme: while Grander Musashi is about fishing, Cooking Master Boy is obviously about cooking. Both also have evil antagonists who want to take over the world by fishing/cooking :)
Similar atmosphere in both animes, though one is about a boy improving his fishing techniques and the other a boy that improves his culinary skills.
Both mangas centers around improving oneself, about friendship, family, and overcomming obsticles (evil organizations).
