Injuu Alien

The all female crew of the transport ship Muse is on a mission in deep space. They pick up an SOS signal and discover a derelict space cruiser where all the women have died mysteriously. They take the only survivor, a young woman named Flair, and detonate the ghost ship. However, the danger is just beginning. With Flair on the Muse, the romances between the women begin to take a new turn. One by one, the crew members are attacked by a mysterious alien presence, desperate to find a way to reproduce with human women.

If somehow you couldn't tell from that description, this is pretty ... much a rip-off of the first Alien film, which touches of Aliens and The Thing sprinkled throughout it's running time. I guess if you're going to steal, steal from the best. Plus ripping of Alien means you get to have an excuse to have tentacles in your hentai.

There's no real plot or character development, as it just jumps right into it, as we meed the characters in media res as they are boarding the previously mentioned derelict space cruiser. It's refreshing having a dumb cheesy b-movie, or b-anime in this case, just skip over all of the formalities of trying to introduce a plot and characters that were already old hat by this point. And all in a brief 45 minute runtime, so it doesn't waste any time.

The dialogue is your standard 90's fare, in that no one is doing that good of a job. But there are some choice amusing bad dialogue. "It's not of this world" I haven't seen ANY world from this universe, so I have no context. And aren't you in the middle of space anyways? "It can't be destroyed with conventional weapons." How very cliched.

Instead of having a creature similar to the Facehugger, or having a some sort of giant Xenomorph rip-off running around killing off most of the crew one by one, this hentai decides to opt in to having the female character that was saved attacking everyone with tentacles and infecting them. It wouldn't be a hentai without tentacles now, would it?

Proabably my favorite moment is when one of the characters somehow manages to blow out a window with a hand gun. Either that space ship was cheaply and poorly put together, or someone bought guns that would be a danger to the ships own hull. I'm surprised that it can withstand the floating around space.

Would I recommend Injuu Alien (AKA Alien from the Darkness)? If you like cheesy b-movies and the Alien franchise, then this is probably going to be right up your alley. If you want a hentai for it's tentacle filled sex scenes, you're probably not going to get much out of this unless you're super into mid-90s hentai.

SUMMARY
Being a big fan of Alien and many other sci-fi thrillers, I decided to give this anime a try to see how it compared.

STORY
The anime revolved around the all female crew of a spaceship who are responding to the mystery of an abandoned ship in the middle of space. The crew board the spaceship to find only corpses, with the male crew members completely rotted and female crew members naked and covered in an unknown green liquid.

The crew find one survivor and take her on board their own ship (Flair). Just under ten minutes into the anime a lesbian love scene ... between two members of the crew plays out, the only non-tentacle sex scene in the whole feature.

Flair is awoken by one member of the crew called Annie and she immediately strips the clothes off Annie. Before anything can develop Flair is spooked by Annie's ferret - a feature which feels very akin to the Alien movies.

Flair continues to attack members of the crew and gradually exposes her true form as a giant alien monster with an uncountable amount of tentacles.

The sex scenes begin to get more and more graphic, although there is minimal gore throughout, and ends with a battle between the alien and the two remaining crew (not including one ferret).

The characters are rather bland and struggle to make a big impression but are at least passable.

VISUALS and EROTICS
The animation style is dated but remains charming, the art style is very basic and down to earth, although it is not pixelated like many other hentai based anime, many key features are kept hidden in order to keep with censorship laws.

Nothing about the girls is too unrealistic or extreme, but there are lesbian scenes and tentacle scenes that may catch out some.

HIGHLIGHT MOMENT
Anything with the ferret appealed to me. The little guy is a badass.

CONCLUSION
Overall this is a very average anime, but if you are a big fan of Alien and tentacle based anime then I would recommend this to you.

Ok so im reviewing a hentai here.
Id like to point out that there are two version of this that I have seen.
One is the edited UK DVD version and the other is one I downloaded.
So id say download it, but why would I be recommending a hentai anime?

The plot is the usual pap.
While some kind of government mission far from civilization, the all-female crew of the spaceship Muze finds what looks like a deserted ship, named the Zogne, drifting in space. They in true Sci-fi style go round to have a look and ... stumble across numerous dead bodies as well as a single survivor Flair, an innocuous-looking girl, who is diagnosed with amnesia after being found in a sleep chamber. The crew bring the girl back to the Muze and treat her (but not in a sexual way). Computer expert Hikari begins attempting to decrypt the computer records of the Zogne to find out what happened to its crew. then some kind of alien shows up and starts on with what a alien dose in a anime like this. (Tip there's no ET crap here even though there are a few fingers involved).
Well since its a hentai with no blokes to be seen (well apart from a poster in the background) your eyes are on all the totty on display.
Theres all the usual ones A buff one, a slutty one, a younger one, two lesbians (that have a "meting" to discuss things) and the female lead and her sister.
None of them stand out as far as designs go.
"Action" wise its aright. Nothing new there. It trys to be really good, but most of us have seen it before.
