Synopsis

All of a sudden, they arrived: parasitic aliens that descended upon Earth and quickly infiltrated humanity by burrowing into the brains of vulnerable targets. These insatiable beings acquire full control of their host and are able to morph into a variety of forms in order to feed on unsuspecting prey.

Sixteen-year-old high school student Shinichi Izumi falls victim to one of these parasites, but it fails to take over his brain, ending up in his right hand instead. Unable to relocate, the parasite, now named Migi, has no choice but to rely on Shinichi in order to stay alive. Thus, the pair is forced into an uneasy coexistence and must defend themselves from hostile parasites that hope to eradicate this new threat to their species.

Parasyte is a show that many consider underrated, and quite good. And it all honesty it’s….. Pretty amazing. It asks the viewer lots of questions that other media just feel scared to ask…. It has a great main character, a good plot, and a great soundtrack paired with amazing animation. It’s actually pretty close to being a 10 in most regards…. Shinichi’s journey and realization at the end of the show are amazing, no spoilers. The shows main message is amazing. It has many thrilling and tear jerking moments. I have very few problems with the show. Some episodes did feel useless in the grand ...

the story is one of the best I ever watched although it might seem fast paced but definitely will leave you wondering and asking questions in real life ! , it sheds the light on the cruel reality of humans although some might see it as an extreme view but it has truth in it and at the same time it shows what makes humans special on earth and shows their beauty , totally worth more than 24 episodes .

the characters development is also fast paced but really good , you can see the changing in look along with thoughts and actions , ...

Parasyte is a beautiful show that poses several questions regarding the nature of humanity and what it means to be evil. Unfortunately, the fact that it never actually answers any of these questions combined with it's awful character progression makes this show a headache to watch.

Story
The story is relatively interesting and absolutely kills in the first 7-8 episodes. As the world is built up and the driving character dynamic between Migi and Shinichi is developed, you get a sense of momentum similar to that of Death Note. The rest of the show is typical shounen, cool fights, slow in between scenes, and flat plot lines. ...
