Also deals with going to Comiket, doujinshi fandom, and eventually self-publishing a doujinshi.
These are both great otaku animes well Doujin work might be slightly short and Genshiken a bit draggy but they always give a good laugh.
Anime about otaku with a ton of comedy and in-jokes that only the target audience would get.

Both illustrates how manga/doujin artists do work behind the scenes.
It's a short comedy about the manga/animation business, both with a female character as the lead. Both are quickly and hilariously overwhelmed by the realities of their new chosen activity, whether work or hobby. Both of them were about equally funny, and both give insight into our (the viewer's--that's us, the MAL user!) interest.

It's the same. Young people making doujinshi and trying to sell them...
Basically the same as Comic Party, many aspects are similar, Comic Party is better though.

Kind of obvious, both are based on 4komas, deal with the daily life of a group of girls, and both are funny as hell. Only diferrence is Lucky Star is really random while Dojin Work has a story.
Originally four-panel comics, both series had successfully endured their transition from paper to screen and maintained the original, inventive, quick LOLs and giggles that were typically found within said comics.
The humor, clearly evident within both, is there. You are not.

Both series are about working hard towards a goal. While REC focuses more on romance, Doujin Work focuses on comedy... but both have hints at each. Also, the main character in both shows look a lot younger than they are meant to be.

They are both quirky series about people trying to make it in Japanese subcultures. :)

Get pulled into the unfamiliar world, the main character don't have any idea of what she should do.
However both are highly motivated, by different reasons.
