If Lelouch were a loli, and you change mecha in magic... Well, there are quite a few differences. But the main characters do have some similarities, they both seem to fight for a similar cause, take over the world to change it for the better, use a similar organisation and get some magical help.

"World Conquest Zvezda Plot" / "Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda" and "Punchline" tell the story of a seemingly normal guy suddenly being dragged into wacky adventures, in which he is surrounded by girls. Both shows are comedic and very over-the-top in terms of their action as well as themes.

Taking over the world or rather just protecting it, both series adapts a super power theme involving characters with extraordinary powers. The main female protagonist serves as an antithesis to the typical frail girl. They often take charge and possesses an ebullient personality. At the same time, they do get into trouble with others but always tries to get the job done right. Both series also has a decent amount of comedy with humorous dialogues and gags.

Similar series yet different. Jimon Asuta and Kanou Shinichi are voiced by the same seiyuu: Hanae Natsuki. Both dealing with magic and hilarious shenanigans. The main characters from both series are thrust into a situation that decides the fate of the world. In Outbreak Company, he must teach the people of Eldant the otaku way of life. Also many parodies from different anime can be seen/heard here. The other series he must serve a loli overlord who wants world conquest. The heroine from both series are very similar. They are small, white/blue/sliver hair, cute voice, leader of a group/kingdom and have taken interest  read more

Both protagonist are trying to conquer the world. But Shinryaku is more focused on comedy and Zvezda on the action.

Both involve a main hero who inadvertently becomes a part of a coalition of goofy, yet amoral characters with extraordinary powers. Akame ga Kill! is much more heavy on the violence however.

Both of these shows embody a trend prevalent (but not universal) in recent releases, highlighting a gulf between sexualisation and objectification. Despite being portrayed with sexual motifs, both female leads in these shows (Ryuuko in Kill la Kill, Kate in Sekai Seifuku) are wilful, determined characters who are never reduced to helpless plot devices. They can hold their own in a fight and are emotionally vulnerable without being subjected to typical feminine stereotypes (such as a hopeless infatuation with the male lead or an inability to cope with stressful situations). From a genre perspective, Kill la Kill is action-heavy and intense, being permeated with huge battles  read more

Really similar setup with the male protagonist mostly getting pushed around by the female characters after being forced into joining their terrorist organization. Very similar comedy focus that relies heavily on absurdism.

With many episodes from these two series individually dedicated to explore a random theme in particular as well as the variety of tones and situations between each episode, these two shows were both wild rides in their own right, especially considering their over-the-top finales. Furthermore, Action and Comedy are commonalities between these two series.

The two shows have the same message (family/comradeship) and both shows has a lively and enthusiatic visuals and whimsical color palette.

Well, at first these two might not seem so similar with one being about an organization aiming for world domination and the other being a slice of life anime about girls in a small village school. However I feel that the characters are rather similar and so is the humor. Renge from Non Non Biyori doesn't have any magical powers like Kate from Zvezda, but they both lead a group of older characters in their cheerful "little girl instinct" way and experience adventures. If you liked the humour of this show and can do with a little more action you're going to enjoy Sekai Seifuku:  read more

These two shows both tell the story of a seemingly normal guy being dragged into wacky adventures due to the influence of a charismatic and naïve person after helping them out. While the protagonist feels like he is in over his head, he becomes comfortable with the new situation of his world. "Samurai Flamenco" tells a story of heroes gathering whilst "World Conquest Zvezda Plot" is about a group of people who many view as villains. Both series also feature an arc in which the protagonists have to go into hiding after defeat and must evade capture by the authorities.

similarly, the anime has a relatively normal guy (who wants nothing to do with these shenanigans) that gets dragged into an extreme, usually funny, and usually non linear situations (as in all episodes do not lead a straight line into the ending's plot. see: hinamatsuri (which i recommend too, same reason), and nichijou as opposed to tokyo ghoul re 2nd season (which i dont recommend)) much of the comedy in these anime (kekkai, sekai, and hinamatsuri) are derived from this aspect, and a lot of the quality comes from the attachment to the characters, as well as the story. respectively, they range from more on "adventure  read more

Similar humor and characters, half serious / half silly plot, subversion and tropes / expectations.

Similar premise involving a (not-so) secret society intent on world conquest, led by an OP loli that treats her minions more like family than underlings, leading to non-stop adventures filled with conflict, action, comedy, drama, and heart.

As we all know by now, Elfnein has become the lifebean of our symphobeans. And with Symphogear XV being the end of our sympho stories, know that it is NOT the end of ELFNEIN. Thus I propose you watch SEKAI SEIFUKU: Bouryaku no Zvezda. It is a beautiful story in which Elfnein conquers the world, and your heart. Glory to Zvezda, Glory to Elfnein

Both anime series are kinda lacking story wise, but really fun to watch because of their silly and colorful nature. Both have some pretty amazing art and similar characters. They are both mostly cheerful and silly with few serious moments.

Zvezda and Planet With both have a particular flavor of quirky, off-the-wall comedy combined with a fun action plot that lends itself to a series of hilarious and heartfelt moments thanks to their respective colorful cast of characters. Because of this, if you have watched one and like what you saw, I believe the other one is likely to be up your alley.

Both are comedy/parody shows centering around an organization trying to take over the world. Both feature protagonists who are henchmen to the evil mastermind (Willingly in the case of Excel Saga, reluctantly in Zvezda).

Both series feature little girls in a position of power, and have their moments of comedy and drama.

Explosions! Giant robots! Colors! Nonsense! You get carried away by the nonsensical plot before you can even breathe. The pacing is very fast. Both animes have an organization with very distinct and crazy members, each one with a unique power.

Both feature an eccentric loli with a just as eccentric anti-hero team trying to fight a bigger government. Sekai Seifuku is tons better, but both have their good points.

These two reminded me of one another in Chuunibyou they have 8th grader syndrome, but in Sekai Seifuku they live out the fantasy, magic world. Both of these shows are also particularly moe.

A crazy loli girl with incredible powers and a much less enthusiastic male co-lead. They are both science fiction-y with action and play up the humor. Black Bullet is significantly more serious in terms of it's actual plot, but the tones are both relatively light, despite that.

Both of the girls in there respected series want to conquer the world. Each are funny, sad, and Sekai Seifuku also has action as well.

Zvezda Plot and Rolling Girls have equally fantastical settings that drive their nonsensical plot. However, the benefit of this is that both series come with great color palettes that turn art, rather than animation, into an asset.

Both anime for those who love random but enthusiastic storylines with a mystical flavor and secret societies.

Mixing surreal settings with quirky comedy Jinrui and Zvezda attain a mystical atmosphere. Strong female leads help keep these otherwise nonsensical shows afloat.

Both protagonists are driven by major daddy issues. They both deal with weird people in weird situations at a fast pace.

The art styles slightly remind me of each other, but probably what does so more are the highly unique/eccentric characters. From a loli that wants to conquer the world to a super smug sci-fi kid.

slice of life with sci-fi elements that follows the strange adventures of quirky members from a group and the boss aims to conquer the world

Stays pretty cute and comedic, but also has some weapons and good action. Both anime are fairly episodic and feature different short story arcs each episode. Feels very similar when it comes to animation, humor, and the general feel you get from the characters. Both simple and have some decent entertainment value.

Both anime feature a diverse cast of characters brought together by an eccentric loli.
