Salamander

80´space opera that both earned their name a long time ago, but for thr older audience still somewhat both cult classiscs 

from space opera to fantasy opera, both started out as computergames before it was made into anime! and they have nice opera music , enjoy! 

both have their relation in videogames, gradius for the sega console, arcade, while orphen was more for the psx, ps2 as an rpglike game released, used to play both back in the days!! 

Both based on shooting games (shumps / stgs) which were released in the 1980's. Both games were well known for their paranormal/spiritual elements. Salamander is the spiritual sequel to Gradius that featured the Maoi heads, which were in themselves a reference to the Nazca lines in Xevious.
