Air and sola have similar moods. Reincarnation appears to factor into both shows as well.

i only started watching sola, but the 1st thing that came to my mind was ef... they feel so similair, esp how miyako (ef) is similar to Matsuri (sola)
both have the slice-of-life drama with slight comedy moments and a touch of darkness and mystery. sola also has action and magic too.
it is intersting an just like clannd it is a bit with super natural,
I had strong "deja vu" feeling while watching one anime after another.

Both Elfen Lied and sola have similar plot development.
One boy, student, who lives without parents (Kouta/Yorito), have the girl who helps him at home (Yuka/Mana). One time he finds strange girl in the seaside (Lucy/Matsuri) and take her to live at his home. After that lots of harem scenes beetween girls and boy living in one house take place. But following the main storyline the boy's life changes as the girl have enemies looking for her because of her abnormal abilities (Diclonius/Yaka) and he tries to defend her till the end.
In the end reveals out that boy is tightly connected with this abnormal girl in the past. That's all.

If you liked one of this watched animes, I'd recommend you to watch another in order to compare and determine which of them have more advantages using comletely same storyline according to your likes.
This series are similar like SOLA, main character is a girl with superpower and SHANA are too.
It has the same feel. It's made by the same creator, Lantis. And it goes by certain themes. Sola is based on the sky, while True Tears is based on...you guessed it...
Both offer a twist on the vampire genera.
sola is more slice-of-life drama, whilst night wizard is more action/magic orientated, however both have similar feels to it, and both have lots of action/magic scenes with good character and storyline developments. both a good watch.
While the story lines are rather different, there is an air of mystery about them, an unsolved part of the whole matter that while one can try guessing about the ending outcome, unless one has seen them before, done research, or pays close attention, one might not get the jest of what is going on with everything until the very end. The endings are for the most part, unexpected, or with such a twist that it is like wow...
animes have a similar feel to them, both have supernatural parts, but w~wish is older and the art isnt as good.
A particularity of both anime is the inaccessibility to the outdoor. Scenes take place often in hospital, and Matsuri reminds me of Rika because of their long hair.
bittersweet taste.
The result of Sola Project is a team up between Da Capo and Canvas 2, since I watched them both I recommend them

Sola reminded me of Haibane Renmei a lot in terms of artwork and the direction. The settin is also somewhat similar with all the protagonists being half-immortal. The main difference I can see is that Sola has a darker tone than Haibane Renmei.
Because its the TV series of Sola!
myself is more drama and slice of life, whilst sola has more action and a bit of magic, but both start off with a hint of comedy but turn out to be dark and mind-blowing.
Matsuri and Horo share the same playful yet mysterious attitude. The plots both involve a relationship between a supernatural being and a human. Sola's Nakahara Mai (Aono) also appears as a supporting character in Spice and Wolf.
Sola is a little more serious than Gift and it isn't about magic but the romance part is pretty similar. It's sort of a love triangle but the guy picks one girl pretty early on and the other girl tries to steal him
