Both the main characters have low self esteem, and by transforming, they learn more about themselves; who they were, and who they could be. If you enjoyed one, you'd enjoy the other kawaii series.

Both revolve around a young girl that finds out that she can transform- in Shugo Chara!, the characters turn into their 'would be selves' while in Kamichama Karin, they turn into gods/ goddesses. Both series's have romance and a bit of action.

Kamichama Karin features kids with the power of gods, Gakuen Alice features kids with special magic powers. Lots of things happen while they are at school. And well, Karin and Mikan (main protagonists respectivly^^) look alike and their characters are quite similar too. Same goes for other characters! Humor is quite alike, and of course the kawaii-ness factor is very, very high in both shows....means frequently appearing animals and various frilly costumes for the girls, cute/cool outfits for the boys.
A girl with pig tails and a special power, a boy with powers that wreck his body, and various similar voice actors. If you liked one, you would surely like the other because they are so similar in plot and characters and cuteness.^_^

The girls both are similar they both are rookies when it comes to their powers yet sometimes they can manage.They both are very caring and when you want to pick at fight they will both beat you.With the help of their friends they always have evreything they could possibly want.This anime has romance as well but it has more romance than this one so far at least (I`ve only seen 12 eps.) They both have it hard sometimes but they break through.These animes are both adventurious and mysterious.Something else that they have in commen both have no parents,they both have pigtails,they both can out mouth someone,and both shows have 26 eps.

its cute. and it both involves girls with powers that they arent familiar with. they both discover their true powers with the help of friends and find some sort of love on the way.

The basic premise of Magical Girl and Romance, of finding new powers and teaming together.. Not to mention Himeka and Tomoyo could practically be sisters. n_n;
The character designs are very similar, as is the character situations (even if the story is completely different). They have a similar feel.

Both are Magic Shoujo animes, with the main girl character becoming the hero by obtaining some sort of magic power, which she was already destined to have. Also both series are filled with middle school kids and cute magical creatures. In both series there is a guy that falls in love with the main girl character even though they are always fighting with each other. ^_^"
Kazune and Karin fight along side each other with the help of Himeka and friends. It's the same base for Card Captor where Sakura and Syaoran fight along side each other with the help of Tomoyo. They all help to make themselves stronger in both anime.
...a romantic comedy, magical girl anime. Both these anime's have really kawaii charaters and not to mention some bishies. A lot of transformation are shown not only by our heroine but also with the other charas.
I really love the romance portrayed by the main charas in both series. And the main girl characters, are pretty much similar, clumsy yet powerful in a sense...and way dense.
Well for one thing the genres are similar:Romance,Comedy,Magical Girl.Also they both have this kinda "un-noticed love" thing.Both Sakura and Karin didn't realize their true true feelings until way later on in the series,like near the end.

Both have very nice romance aspects and yet the quality comedy!! >W< karin's expressions remind me of kirari too. Although it doesn't have the whole idol theme, and its more of a parody of a magical girl anime, kamichama karin is a great romance-comedy to watch! ^ ^
Yes, I love how Kirarin & Karin expressions are. Sometimes they get mad or upset ya know. && they mainly depend on the male character at times. They also try to help out of what looks good, but it doesnt always go that way. The romantic comedy is the best thing for these animes.
Kirain & Karin are pretty much the same person. they both like food, have the best facial expressions, and they even look similar. The romance in both stories is very similar as well. Even though the plots are different, both have a similar feeling that just reminds you of the other one.
Well, both the main character's names start with "k"...anyway, the characters are drawn in the same kawaii style, and both main characters have someone they like, but that changes throughout the series.

They all involve two girls and guys who have magical powers. Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne involves more action and in my opinion, had a more graceful look to all the fights than Kamichama Karin, but that's only me... ^^

First of all, it's from the same creator and artist, Koge Donbo and Kamichama Karin has some voiceactors who also voices characters from Pita Ten. Kamichama Karin has the same happy cuteness as Pita Ten and both shows have a lot of similairities. Everyone who likes cute and magical girl stuff should watch it ^_^
They both have something to do with angels and school life.

Kamichama Karin and Kage Kara Mamoru have a similar feel. Both have a slightly clueless girl, who is protected by a more able guy. Karin is a little bit more apt than Yuna. Both shows have similar humor, but Kage Kara Mamoru is about ninjas while Kamichama Karin has a more fantasy feel to it. They are both excellent and definitely worth watching.

the 2 are about super natural power or legends. Karin anime the main character is a particulary vampire compare to her familly they go out the night and take blood, Kamichama Karin its about a girl who find a guy she found that she have power and tryign to save him with it
