SynopsisHasukawa Kazuya is in a terrible bind. His brother's new wife is also the woman that Kazuya secretly loves. Determined to avoid them both, Kazuya leaves home to live in the student dorm called Greenwood. There, he hopes to find peace of mind. Unfortunately for Kazuya, stability and peace are the last things one might find at Greenwood - home of the weirdest characters on campus.

Although 'Here is Greenwood' is a shoujo anime while 'Kimagure Orange Road' falls in the shounen genre, both are romance anime aimed at a teen aged audience. The characters in both are endearingly awkward when it comes to matters of the heart.

If you ever think you are having a bad day I recomend picking up eith Maison Ikkoku or Here is Greenwood. Both portray the antics of a building of hoodlums who are constantly harassing the poor poor protagonist. In addition, they both posess a similar 'slice of life' humour.
