Rescue Me!

If you intend to watch this as a way to jack off, you will be left disappointed. However, if you watch is as a sort of lewd comedy, its a blast and a half.

I don't actually watch hentai for the sex factor, rather I occasionally watch it for the plot as a meme. Usually the plot in hentai's are what I expect: non existent or downright terrible. However sometimes you get something like this show which has jokes that made me genuinely laugh.

Thats really an understatement, this show is hilarious! The main character finds himself surrounded by stereotypical hentai girls and over the ... top sexual situations. What makes it funny is how exaggerated its played and how the MC reacts with confusion and even occasional denial.

While I can say the middle got a tad boring due to the MC's lack of reactions, but thats a minor complain since the OVA is quite short.

Overall: its a masterpiece

I'm inclined to write this review for reasons I no longer remember but all I remember of this anime whilst watching it on some bs 360p (seriously, I am getting flashbacks of watching Bleach on YT days) was something of those random ecchi OVAs that literally hold no value other than the ecchi and that only.

I don't even remember these guys names. All I know is typical misunderstanding is a typical misunderstanding that led to those girls thinking male MC was some kind of rapist or something extreme like that. Obviously, he tries to clear his name from what I remember (I don't remember anything).

That's ... about it. If you want a quick ecchi OVA for the night, I'd recommend this in-and-out one. Do you remember your 37th fast food meal ever? No. Because this is exactly that.

Rescue Me is your typical generic ecchi harem comedy... except everything is crammed into a single episode. If you've watched more than a handful of anime from the genre, then chances are you've seen every joke, situation, and character archetype in it a hundred times before. It offers absolutely nothing new in that regard, and due to the pacing (and subpar visuals, for that matter) is particularly poorly executed to boot.

The one and only thing that would seem to set Rescue Me apart is that it is far more explicit than your typical tv ecchi series, showing numerous sex scenes. Just one problem: every single ... scene that goes beyond your generic ecchi fare is actually just in the girls' imaginations and doesn't really happened. In actuality, the MC is just your typical herbivore-male harem protagonist turned up to 11, never showing any interest in the girls and doing everything he can to get out of the sexual situations he finds himself in. Oh, and to make things worse, because of the breakneck pacing all of these imaginary sex scenes are only like five seconds long a piece, so fail to have any erotic impact whatever.

In other words, Rescue Me is a complete waste of time. Just watch a standard ecchi or hentai instead.
