Both are movies featuring manly heroes. Fist of the North Star is obviously more violent in content but both films do contain great animation in its action scenes. The story line in the Toriko series is inspired by Fist of the North Star, however the movie simply serves as a presentation to its cast and unique setting. Oddly enough, both of these theatrical films have a similar subplot on flowers and the preservation of nature.

While most films based on ongoing shonens deal with defeating villains, I feel these movies deliver its action well. Both movies contain a group of heroes each having their share of fighting. They also have a massive budget increase than their anime allowing for stunning visuals & creative usage of scenery. Saint Seiya's film has more fights and an artistic look while Toriko has a final fight that is gargantuan.
