Is a fully-fleshed wincest rom-com series what you're looking for? Stop- you're looking for the wrong kind of show here.

This series of 5-min omake derives it's humor from explaining and poking fun at stereotypes related to Kansai-region natives (commonly known in shows as the idiots from Osaka).

The only hints of sexual humor so far (as of watching the 3rd episode) is Namika's dirty jokes at the beginning and her bathing in the end credits. The rest of the episode offers advice on how to deal with people from Osaka and their quirks.

For flash-ish animation and a sparse cast of characters, I can't find anything read more

If you think this is going to be some incest, hentai-filled anime and that's why you are avoiding it, you are totally wrong.

If you view this as an actual anime, you might be disappointed. The art isn't that great, the movements are rather messy, but as an educational short is where it succeeds. Are you someone who studies Japanese and would like to learn more about the differences between Kansai-ben and Standard Tokyo dialect? This is the show for you, really.

If you are Japanese and just enjoy poking fun at people from Osaka, then you will enjoy this too.

Basically, don't take it seriously, and if read more

I have seen my fair share of anime shorts, this was quite possibly one of the most enjoyable ones I seen so far.

Boku no Imouto wa "Osaka Okan" is a show full of humor as it playful shows off and explains numerous stereotypes of people from Osaka.

The animation is not all that impressive and the voice cast is limited as is the case with most shorts, but it still doesn't take away from the characters or the story. The brother and sister pair well together (as true brother and sister).

Namika (the little sister) is cute, lovable, and 100% Osakan, Kyousuke (the brother) generally read more

intro to each episode is basically a 15 second introduction with him introducing the setting and his litte sister makes ecchi joke at beginning

If you can get past the animation of this show, then you'll find a very good show of comedy/slice of life talking about the humorous things Osakans do. Couldn't decide whether to pick 8 or 9 so i picked 9 since its underrated.

Anime: Haiyoru! Nyaruani: Remember My Love(craft-sensei)
I got a similar feeling from these short funny episodes. You don't have to think about anything while you watch them, like when you're feeling tired but still want to watch some anime. :D

Anime: Thermae Romae
Both are short flash-based animations with the purpose to educate viewers about certain customs and culture.

Anime: Aiura
Both series consist of a few minutes of random slice-of-life hilarity. Easy watching.

Anime: Turning Girls
The choppy animation using generally still things is entirely noticeable in both. TG is more stop animation like, while Boku no Imouto kind of moves their characters around. Both are shorts.

Anime: Suzakinishi the Animation
Each of the series are simple short running shows about learning about people from different places. Both of them include little silly trivia slides about the characters such as examples "She likes to make noises while on the toilet" or "They can't watch TV without talking back to it." Also Suzaki Aya's and Ishihara Namika's characters remind me of each other with their silly mannerisms.

Anime: Hetalia Axis Powers
Both are fun, light-hearted comedies that focus on certain cultures. "Hetalia Axis Powers" deals more with countries and the stereotypes that surround them, while "Boku no Imouto wa" focuses more on Osaka and the mannerisms of the people there. They're also both only a few minutes long.
