I have nothing personal against this anime or people who like it...but...I didn't think it was very good at all. It was completely underdeveloped: the story, characters, everything. And it seems little effort was put into it. Not that you can expect a lot from a two episode show, but they could have done better than THAT. It wasn't put together well enough for me to get anything out of it. Maybe that's why they call it an OVA, 'cause you're supposed to play the game first, but still...At least with other OVAs I'm able to get the gist of the story and enjoy them a little bit. I'd expect much more in both the story and quality of an OVA made in 2006.

I give it a 5. It just was not worth my time. Definitely not my thing. If you like the style of the game and really cliche shounen-ai stuff, you could possibly enjoy this somewhat. read more

Admittedly I only tried to watch this because one of the characters looks like Sephiroth with Vincent's eyes (Final Fantasy VII), but this anime is nothing like the game.

In it's favor I can say it has some beautiful art, though it is very short and that doesn't give it a lot of time for the plot to develop. It does have a plot though and the main issue will be somewhat resolved, but then a bigger one will be placed before the main cast, ending in a cliff hanger.

The characters have potential but two episodes are no where near enough to develop that many character. Overall what this really needs is a sequel. read more

It is a good shounen-ai anime with beautiful art and is based off of the game with the same name. I highly recommend watching it.

This was good for what it was. A delicious Shounen Ai series from a BL gave. The art was beautiful and the story wasn't too rushed or vague.

The great anime for all who love adventure, fantasy and senen-ai. It´s light and cheerful, tells us about one very big war - war between the lightness and the darkness. The perfect story, beautiful pictures and outstanding sound made me really happy.

The story line could definitely have made this a longer series. At least, to me it seems they had it all set up to make it a longer series, maybe 13 - 26 episodes if not more. I'm sad to see such an amazing and inspiring story line go to... well, waste. Much more could've been tacked on to it to develop everything a little more.

Art wise, the animation was very pretty and it was the main reason I decided to watch it (besides the fact I heard it was a BL series). The coloring, the lights and the overall art is spectacular... and it makes me wish it was longer so I could watch more of the beautiful features of it.

Overall I believe it just should've been a longer series. Maybe possibly it could have a sequal or something to extend it. But, for now I'll stick to fanfiction or something. read more

I have never before seen such a horrible OAV. I'm usually a very open-minded person, but I honestly could not tolerate this.

The story and charcater developement was dreadful. I could not grasp what the storyline was at all. I have a feeling that the characters were not very well planned. I didn't understand the main characters backgrounds, and I got confused as to who was what, who loved who, and so on.

The only positive thing about this was the art and sound. I daresay they are pretty decent. The characters and background are fairly well drawn. The music, I deem appropraite for the scenes. It was pretty decent.

This OAV was absolutely not worth my time. I got bored on the first part and wanted nothing more than to close the window and get on with another anime. read more
