I'm going to make this short. This show is not trying to pretend it's a well made show. It knows it's crap!! If you have 2 mins to spare, give this little gem a shot.

An anime that can really not be described in mere words. This anime is wacky, goofy, and it really does not take itself seriously. Some people are critiquing it like it is an actual anime with a story. Ishida and Asakura is just a random serious of events with various funny bits thrown in the mix. Upon completion, depending on your sense of humor, you might contemplate suicide or reach a new stage of enlightenment. That being said " Lets run a flower shop together."

Ishida to Asakura consists of twelve 2-minute episodes that have a bunch of weird, random stuff that seems designed to make you say "What the hell am I watching right now?" The show seems completely self-aware of this, and even tends to parody a lot of generic, shitty anime tropes. However, it doesn't really parody hard enough and it's never clear whether they're making fun of something, or if it's just in there to be weird. Thus, many of the aspects they parody still end up feeling tired and overdone. Also, their characters feel empty and really bland, but I think part of that might be by read more

Ishida to Asakura and Sakigake!! Cromartie Koukou are abnormally hilarious and crazy anime. If you want to get high using legal (anime) drugs, both of them will provide you with a fresh and decent dose. Also, these shows feature rough and serious-looking guys who do or talk about incredibly stupid things. I must say that in my opinion, Cromartie is much more random and funny than Ishida to Asakura, but the later is definitely worth a watch, if you like gag humor and randomness.
Both have very short episodes, Both Gag animes,Both have their weird moments
Ishida to Asakura and Kakko Kawaii Sengen! give a small window in the the bizarre lives of 2 unorthodox popular characters at school. With the quick-witted peon replies, fan-club, dirty jokes, and aggressiveness--you'll surely get a laugh from the sheer absurdity. It's an easy investment in these series as they're both only a couple minutes long.
Crude jokes about sex and body humor and ridiculous, over-the-top characters.
Ishida to Asakura has a ridiculous level of randomness you could never expect from an anime. It's too random, it's more like Youtube recommended playlist for naked people on drug wearing tinfoil hat backward walking dog while running cat.

It's pretty difficult to say that some anime is different from the other with all overhype we have, but this one IS different, and I use that term very sparingly. That term is subjective alright, but if you trust my portfolio and like ridiculously random unexplainable phenomena which breaks all archetype, go watch it.

Double J is anothere kind of fun. While not madly random, feature a healthy amount of punny fun time. The show also make fun of usual club-activity setting as seen in K-on like anime too. If you want to take a little break from commonplace setting, this is for you.

Too bad, the ridiculously short episodes are never enough to satisfy the hunger of mad fans.
