If you are religious do NOT watch this. Don't even look at pictures of it. This whole anime is pitting God as a villain and Satan as a hero.

The story is okay. The cultists are pretty well done. enough to make me scared a bit. The whole sacrifice episode was in my head longer than School Days. The story is straightforward, God made humans as copies of other humans and so on and so on. Did I even mention the main character? Ryo is a whiny bitch, but more on that later. Did I also mention that this anime is not for religion nuts? There's incest, heavy incest.

The art is good for its time and the manga is by Go Nagai, so you know it's EPIC! The cover art for the DVD's is kind of ugly, but the anime itself likes pretty good. The devils aren't very scary and look deformed for demons.

Both dubs are average and again everyone sounds like a whiny bitch in both dubs, but the motorcycle crash scenes dubbing is so worth it. Gods voice is pretty terrible and sounds like something from The Simpsons. The music is pretty creepy and is the only reason that it's rated a six.

Characters/ There are no characters that are notable. You get alot of demons screaming at each other and you don't get to fall in with the characters. I'd say that Saori is hot for an anime character, but that's a damn lie. Her character is just like any damsel in distress minus a big chest or any nice features. The Doctor/ Dad is a bad dad. He offers his daughter up for sacrifice. Cool.

I overall enjoyed knowing that I'm going to hell for screaming "DAMN YOU GOD!" when I found out he was the villain. Overall this anime is a 7 and I know that I'm going to hell now so boozing it up at 15 is nothing.

Pretty good for an older anime. Story has creepy elements similiar to Doomed Megalopolis and Devilman. Action is good at times. Violence is fairly well done, although not too gorey. Odd concept is what comes to my mind when I think of this one and that is why I didn't resell it. Kinda boring in parts and whole story would have been better if it only had 9 or 10 episodes.
