Kuroko no Basket NG-shuu

I was pretty bored so I just decided to check out Kuroko no Basket NG-shuu out of curiosity. Basically all this is is a 9 episode series of anime specials that rub from about 1-5 minutes per episode. It showcases bloopers within scenes from season 1 of the anime. There isn't too much to say about this except that the comedy was handled really well. The only gripe I have is the fact that these specials didn't really do any expanding for the characters and there isn't really much of a cohesive plot. But listen it's just a light hearted series of specials that you ... can finish in literally no time. So I say if you liked KnB check it out it's very funny and an overall good experience.

Kuroko No Basket NG-Shuu (Short Comedy Specials)

This is a compilation of bloopers from the series Kuroko No Basket. It consist of almost 10 episodes, along with the no goods of every characters. It is kind of funny to watch those characters made mistakes as if they are real people, acting like one. Every episodes only takes a maximun of four minutes and it is only for the sole purpose of enjoyment. It is like a commercial before watching the best of games.

Sports Anime genre have only one path to take, tournaments. Participating individually or by teaming up, it is the most common plot that exist. While this is not a unique one, it will be the author's capability how he manage to capture the interest of the viewer and excite them. This series focuses on students who love playing basketball. At first, I am really not interested on watching this anime. It is kind of absurd to think of a basketball story with extraordinary skills. But after trying it out, it made me realize that the plot of the story is great. I love the simplicity of it. The main reason of why the series moves forward and how it affects every branches of the story. Unrealistic as it may seem, the lesson is still there. The creator successfully stress out the core value when playing basketball. What also made me hook on this series is the directness of every plays all of the basketball teams have. Each play only last for an average of 5 to 6 episodes. Flashbacks are there but its only on a really minimum basis. You can enjoy watching all of the plays without so much cliffhanging and annoying side stories of the characters.

Characters: 10

It is already a known that almost all of the characters on this series are super cool. It is the reason why most of the girl watched it, I think. Aside from that fact, the development of the characters can totally be seen along the story. The changes and realization they made make them more of a human. Though not skillfully speaking. Since there are so many characters, giving all of them the spotlight is hard. And that's whats amazing. The creator successfully introduce a past where most of the characters belong. That way, it won't be hard tackling each of the characters past and it gives the story more time in other scenarios that needs to be displayed. I love how the story never depend on the back story of the characters so much that it will take too much time to explain it.

Sound and Animation: 10

Perfect. My phone is full of Kises' picture. Yes, every character is so handsome but it is not only this. The animation of the story is really great. Parts where the characters show dribbling, passing, shooting or even guarding their opponents is really detailed. I love how they show the movements of the characters playing on the court, as well as their expression depending on the feeling they have. Should I also mention the voices? Yes, theirs are really cool and perfectly matches the looks of the characters.

Enjoyment: 10

I am not really a fan of basketball. I do not hate it, but I do not also like it. This is the first anime basketball which got me hooked. Due to so much enjoyment watching it, I've finished it in a more faster time than the other series I tried. Every episode will make you want more, more plays, more actions on the court, more characters to encounter with. It is really exciting, and fun to watch.

Ending: 10

This is the best route to take for an ending on this series. The main goal of Kuroko has been met after winning the nationals with his team. But no, the story did not really move forward just because they had to win. It is because he had to bring back his loss previously. He had to bring back all of the people precious to him and he did. Fixing things that is broken and making them realize the most important thing when doing the thing they love. I am content with the ending of this series. It is simple, yet it will made you realize something important.

I don't know what an NG-shuu is, sounds like some hip Japanese hair product, but this Kuroko's Basketball special series is a collection of short blooper reels ranging around 1:30-4:00 minutes each. As it sounds, it copies several scenes from the anime exactly until they deviate when something goes comically wrong.

The original Kuroko's Basketball had a decent sense of humor, even if it unfortunately used Japanese wordplay frequently, so it comes as no surprise that these bloopers do have their laugh out loud moments now that the writers are expressly focusing on the humor without having to worry about the tone of the story. These ... skits are far from equal in quality, but given how short each one it is it hardly feels like time wasted. It can be frustrating how long the original scene is set up to get to the point where the joke is, but that's really all there is to say. These jokes don't give any new insight into the characters, and plenty are situational comedies that have nothing to do with the specific characters, basketball, or the original point of the scene.

With all that can be said having been said, this is easily recommended to Kuroko's Basketball fans so if you're on the fence about bothering just go ahead and watch already. You'll get at least a laugh or two.

Why am I writing a review for bloopers? Because I'm OCD, that's why. Essentially, what this set of episodes is is a bunch of animated bloopers, each ranging from 1-5 minutes long.

They're all together quite funny, and I think the thing that was enjoyable to me about them is that they really helped me to let go of the series once I had finished it. It lets you go back into the world of these characters without having to rewatch the entire series. Not to mention, you actually get to see some stuff that you wouldn't get to see in the series (like Kuroko ... laughing). Other than that, though, it's just lighthearted, good fun to watch.

Obviously, there's no character development or anything that benefits the story, but it does lighten up some of the more intense moments of the anime, so it's nice to be able to let go of some of that tension.

If you wanna watch it, go ahead. It's fun at the very least.

Bloopers. Remember when every other Anime was capitalizing on this one? Why did they stop doing it? It's like the perfected form of Recap episodes mixed with new content and parody while remaining extremely short and heavy on comedy.
It's so fun to see characters acting out of characters once in a while, bringing together some of the highlights of the show and making a spin on them in man ways.
Of course, not all of the episodes were on par but some were gold. I hope the later seasons also have bloopers because it's something we really need more of. Gotta appreciate the people in charge ... of thinking of this. More content of something you love. It's a win no matter you look at it.
