SynopsisDr. Yung, an enigmatic Pokémon scientist, has developed a new Mirage system that uses computer data to resurrect extinct Pokémon, like Kabutops and Armaldo. Professor Oak, Ash and his companions show up at the Mirage Mansion at Dr. Yung's invitation, and watch a demonstration of the machine's capabilities. In the middle of a battle between Dr. Yung's Mirage Pokémon and Ash, the machine goes haywire and a Mirage Aerodactyl swoops in and kidnaps Dr. Yung. A man calling himself "The Mirage Master" appears and announces to everyone that the Mirage System can be used to create Pokémon with absolutely no weaknesses. Ash, Misty, and Professor Oak struggle to stop the madman and escape with their lives.

I watched this movie when it was Pokemon's 10th birthday in 2007 if i remembered correctly.
This movie was Pokemon's first step into The Pokemon Company industry. It's a GOOD thing they have their own dubbing industry for Pokemon; it's a BAD thing because they changed their original voice actors.
Pokemon:The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon is one of the WORST Pokemon movie's I have EVER seen.
I LOVE Pokemon since I was a kid, still following with the games, but this movie was HORRIBLE.
#1. The original voice acting class retired. They got new ones. As a Pokemon fanatic since I was raised watching Pokemon, I could tell straight away that Ash was not May, and Brock was not Seto Kaiba (they have the same voice actors).
#2. The movie was utterly ridiculous. Though Misty came back for a vague amount of time, and played a supporting character in this film, I didn't see the point of this movie taking place!
Like all Pokemon movies, the soundtrack was good, characters were alright. However, the storyline for this movie was SO BAD, it became one of my never wanting to watch again Pokemon movie.
If you have not seen this movie, I would think twice. A bias point of view, but that is what reviews are. read more
