Similar style of storytelling. Black Order kinda like State Alchemists etc. Both Ed and Allen have arms that aren't their original arms.
Both shows take place in about the same time period (early 20th century for FMA, late 19th century for D. Gray-man) in Europe in a world similar to our own. They are both about unique abilities, with an organization of alchemists in FMA and an organization of exorcists in D. Gray-man. They are Shounen as well as some comedy mixed in and are both very enjoyable to watch.
Now i know that people might ask why even bother? But i i thought that someone new to anime might need some help. Now the connection from FMA to D.Gray Man might be easy to see (they both have a messed up arm). All of the connections are not so cut and dry. Ed and Allen are very similar. first of all they carry a huge wait on their shoulders and they hate being called names. there are other similarities but they might ruin the surprise.
Both series are about someone who tried to bring someone important to them back to life… and failed. Allen Walker (D.Gray-Man) was cursed and Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist) lost his right arm and left leg, which could be considered a curse. After that they both joined an organisation. Allen Walker = Black Order; Edward Elric = State Military. They both seem to have a cranky teacher (sensei).
Last but not least; they are both short… ^^
The main characters both seem similar and their beliefs are also similar. The excitement of the plot and the action are very the same. Both animes share the same excitement and it will be a very nice experience.
Both of these animes have been compared in the past and for good reason too. D. Gray Man and Full Metal Alchemist both have a strong main character with a sad, messed up past but even so, they gain strength from this. Both Edward and Allen are going for a goal and to do so, they must overcome many scary, supernatural challenges. Edward has to might the Homunculus while Allen has to fight demons/akuma, the Noah, and the Millenium Earl. Both shows are on my top 5...this is my recommendation for both D. Gray Man fans who have yet to see Full Metal Alchemist and also for Full Metal Alchemist fans who haven't seen D. Gray Man. *note* D. Gray Man starts off slow, but, it will get REALLY good really fast after that.
Young heroes whose childhoods are marked by tragic events, their limbs altered to become weapons, fighting to redress an error in their past: these are the main elements that tie Fullmetal Alchemist and D. Gray-man together. Plus, both series draw a world that resembles ours with some crucial differences, deliberately dabbling in anachronisms. Both have a focus on action that does not hinder character development, allowing for doses of humour to lighten up the mood.
Allen Walker is like a mix between Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric. He has Edward headstrong personality with Al's compassion. He even looks like them (just with gray hair and slightly older). He also has a messed up arm like Ed. The Black Order is very reminiscent of the National Alchemists organization.
Any Fullmetal Alchemist fan would love D.Gray-man. The characters are similar, the themes are similar. The difference is that D.Gray-man is going to be a long anime and the storyline is slightly different. A must watch!
The main characters of each of these shows end up losing someone who is very precious to them, changing their destiny in the process. Also, they both have unique arms due to those events.
Alchemist organization is familar to Black Order imo. Main charas- Ed and All are short teenagers-ppl make fun of their height lol. both of dem has unusuall arms and they fight because of paren's loss.
Homunculus is very similar - Akuma.
These two anime are so similar it's scary. I've avoided watching D Gray Man before because it looked too much like any other generic shonen, but only 10 episodes in and it hooked me good. If you liked Fullmetal, don't hesitate to give it's darker sibling D Gray a try.
Well, for starters both these titles are the shounen, action-packed with PG-13 violence type. And there's a really obvious similarity between the main characters in these two shows--both have 'the arm'. That's right, if Allen Walker has his Anti-akuma weapon arm, then Edward Elric has his mechanical arm. Speaking of characters, both titles have unique variation among their character and you never get tired of them. What I mean is that in FMA, the Alchemists had different abilities same with the Exorcists in DGM. Each of the characters had their own way in contributing to the unfolding of the plot--which makes the plot (for both anime shows) really unpredictable, thus exciting. So, if you're life has been dull and you've been craving for some action, then go watch these two shows. They both left me with no regrets and they were definitely not a waste time for me.
Let's see, both Edward Elric and Allen Walker tried to bring the dead to life with devastating consequences. Besides that, they joined a military organization and look their arms!! One has a metal arm the other has a..unique arm which doubles as a weapon. Both are really young. Oh, both Ed and Allen has lazy/cracky superiors (Roy and Komui) too.
In both Animes there are many similar ideas. Firstly, both have a darker, more bleak, mood at times and at others a very light, cheery comic mood. The Characters have lost an important relative due to their own mistakes. Alchemy is very similar to Innocence as each exemplify different traits depending on the user. Lastly, both Edward Elric and Allen Walker have masters that they are completely afraid of.
Both main chars fight with 1 of their hands and they transform their hand to battle. Plus the mood of the shows and the scenrys and era are also similar. Then they both go every where by trains. Then they both are part of a military type organization with people like them. And they both have a dead family member.
Both have main characters with arms that functions as weapons. Both characters' childhoods featured a tragic loss for them, and the retribution they faced for trying to bring back the people they lost taint them to this very day.
Both protagonists turn one of their loved ones into a monstrous creature. Both Edward from FMA and Allen from DGM have an arm that is not normal. Also both stories revolves around looking for precious stones.
it has a very similar feel and progression to it. just trust me if you like one youll like the other
CREEPY similar. First...
1)Edward/Allen suffer consequences for trying to bring dead back to life.
2)Both have teachers they are afraid of: Izumi/Cross (Hm, I wonder what would happen if they met each other? XD)
3) Komui reminds me of Hughes, what with his attitude to family members.
4) Edward/Allen both have special arms.
5) Noah family is like the homunculi; the way they just kind of come as collectibles ^^ Oh, and I believe there are seven Noah/Homunculi?
6) Lenalee kind of like Winry- aka romantic tention between her and the hero.
7) Dark Order similar to State Alchemists- most of their members are pretty young and what they do serves the community.
8) Exorcists=Alchemists- although not every alchemist is in State, they're both "selective practices", per se.
9) Milliennium Earl could be a personification of "the Gate".
10) And last but not least, the mangas were published in the same year. 0.0
I believe FMA is better overall, though. -nod-
Both shows are about 15 year old main characters with a fake arm and a tendency to be referred to as "beansprout". They both take place in the 1800's, though D.Gray-man has a more gothic feel. If Fullmetal Alchemist and Tim Burton had a lovechild, it would be D.Gray-man.
The main characters are both child prodigies, excelling in combat and hiding a mysterious past. Edward Elric joins up with the Military of Amestris, while Allen Walker joins the Dark Religious Organization. Both series include comedy at some times as well as blood and death at others. They can be shockingly similar to each other in some ways, while being different enough that they each have a unique flavor.

Both are Shonen titles with darker less cliche villains.
Both shows feature broken protagonists and enagmatic yet mysterious antagonists.
Both feature a nod to Bushido with the individuality of their weapons (be it Zanpakutoh or innocence).
Both shows feature a mirroing of their enemy, ie. Dark Matter vs Innocence or Vaizard and Arrancar.
Both shows have strong support characters whose support can steal away from the main character.
They are both well written moving between light and dark moments with a re-evaluation of whether the enemies are actually evil or just victims.
Well... Both are adventures of inumerous characters, each one with his own power and distinct personality, against the evil guys.
I didn't get this part of the anime yet, but people said me that it has fillers like all those other similar series (as Naruto, Dragon Ball, etc...). For me, these animes are all the same after all...
both has its own serious moments against their fight against evil or their goal, with a bit of comedy to lighten the mood up from time to time.
Both are in a group of supernatural power fighting against evil in Bleach they fight Hollows and in D.gray-man they fight Akuma ( Demons ). If u liked Bleach you will like D.gray-man ^^
Both series have the same style.. A young boy who tries to gain more power in order to save good people on earth. Story and characters are a little similiar also.. So you wont regret it.
If you liked "Spiritual Energy (reiatsu)" .. You should definitely try "innocence"!
both the story, characters, and organizations are very similar
Both are fighting akuma or evil using there own methods in one its shinigami in the other its exocists both shows are great
Bth great shounen series.
Both main chars belong to an organisation such as Shinigamis or Order. Then each shinigami/exorcist have different ability and fight against Hollows/Akumas. Then in the shows the chars get stronger and have long fights with very powerful monsters. The monsters evolves to a stage where they are hellish strong.
Both are action/shonen series, with a group of good guys slowly fighting their way through the ranks of the bad guys, powering up in the process. While D.Gray-Man is often more serious than Bleach, they both have their moments of comedy to lighten up the mood when needed. Also, >100 % synch rate = bankai all the way.
Both have Demons, and similar fighting with nice power ups. Bleach is more slow paced, but they are both good.
Both about an organization of people with spiritual abilities that are supposed to destroy evil spirits
Both protagonists hunt after bad spirits and have extraordinary powers.
In both Bleach and D.Gray Man, the plot revolves round the protagonist and his friends as they combat an evil force to safe the people of the world. The anagonists are very mysterious yet likable characters and appear an unbeatable force. It is up to the protagonist and friends to try to beat them while they both fight with a hidden power within themselves.
Hero with strong/unusual powers, battles and many bishounens. Although I think D.Gray-man's animation looks better and Allen has more 'dark' secrets.
Akuma are like hollow.
Exorciste are like shinigami
Noah are like espada
if you like bleach most likely you'll like DGrayMan i mean it startsout boring like some animes but its halirouls and the action in it isnt so bad the down side is the ending is like a cliffy due to the fact the author got sick so unless your willing to wait for her to get better dont watch it and get disapointed

Another hunter hunt demon anime ~
hunt soul and both have the same styles.
Both stories involved the theme, supernatural and good vs bad. In D.Gray-Man, the exocists are fighting against the akuma, noahs and earl who wanted to bring the world to an end. While in Soul Eater, the meisters and their weapons are fighting against the demon god, witches and humans who have turn evil.
They both deal with fighting off bad soul's to protect the good ones. While one has more of an emphasis on souls itself. Humor in both is very similair.
Liek D.Gray-Man, Soul Eater has people who have supernatural "weapons" that they are compatible with. Defeating evil beings is their duty. The weapons can "level up" like the Innocence contained in the exorcists'.
Good organization versus evil organization, lots of characters with various weapons. Soul Eater is however much more lighthearted than D.Gray-Man.
Both about an organization of people with spiritual abilities that are supposed to destroy evil spirits
These two anime have a similar feeling.
It's sorta dark and it's full of comedy and action. If you like D.Gray-man then you will enjoy Soul Eater too. :]
They are similar because they both have teams that attack demons for innocents but in soul eater there after souls
I really recomend to peeps who have watch soul eater to watch d-gray-man!!
They are really similar in how the anime ends. They both have supernatural powers and trys to fight off a same enemy which reborns or takes a long time/hard time to defeat.

asfar as i have watched em, they both got the same settings
same styles... yet a bit different
if ya like holy bullshit fighting demon shit you should both watch em :D
*as probably the plots will develop those wont be the same at all*
The main characters somehow came from kind-of religious organizations. Both fighting Akuma. In my opinion, watching Chrono Crusade is like watching the more colorful D.Graymen.
Both are supernatural, and leave you wondering about a few things..
The 2 thign are about chasing Youma(Akuma) or monster if its more clearly. Their exorcist who have to destroy something to gain somethings the same principe for most particulary anime .Have a nice day ^^
Both are about an organization fighting monsters/demons. Both use religion as a base to build the story. If your into a dark story then both of these are worth watching.
Similar time, similar atmosphere, there are also organizations fighting demons. Plus, I find Chrno similar to Allen =P
Exorcists... exorcism... what more can I say? In both series most of this :P

Both full of action and funny things.
young male lead with hidden talent that will surface later through training ....long drawn battles.. sacrifice self to protect friends...
Both have really well developed characters and similar overall feel. Althoug they're not similar in plot or the settings, they have a lot in common.
I think if you liked that on you gone like this one too
They both came out on the same season and are long dragging shows however Hitman hasnt ended yet. Then the characters train and all power up in battle by getting overly emotional(like all action anime). Then battles last long and are really cool and both main chars appearence start to change later on in the shows as they get their powers.
They both have a serious and a hilarious atmosphere. The action is intense, and WILL keep you wanting for more and more!

Generic shounen super-power type anime similar to Naruto.. though Naruto was way better in it's first season
Both are animes where a crowd of heroes fight to save the world from the evil guys. If you ever watched Dragon Ball, Naruto, Bleach or any anime like these ones, you will find them pretty similar.
It's another typical shonen. Lots of action, friendship is a recurring theme, similar characters and the same type of humour.
The tags and genres are roughly the same, and both series are made up as universes instead of stories. Action, emotional and funny scenes are present in both animes, and you'd definitely get to like some of the characters.
Both have a similar storyline, plot, and characters.
similiar type of male lead characters who have super hidden abilities that surpasses each new enemy they meet. They are rather child-like and bond quickly with people they meet.

Exorcists are to Claymores while Kakuseisha/Yoma are to Akuma.
Similar concept in that Claymores/Exorcists are hired/sent to destroy monsters that's been terrorizing the town (Youma/Akuma), and that these monsters can take the form of any human.
a cool, kickass heroine and a pretty good adaptation of the manga.
this anime is kind of similar as it evolves the characters joining an organisation and fights demons to maintain peace.. one of the best animes of all time//.. =)
both stories have almost the same monsters.... akuma's killing people for food and for them to evolve and take form of the people they ate. claymore's youma or yoma also shows the same..... youma eat humans for food and they evolve to stronger monsters and as they say... allen W, is half human half akuma... clare in claymore is half human, half yoma.
Both people with special powers that kill demons....both have a dark theme, however Claymore is has more profanity

They have a very similar dark atmosphere. The sceneries are very similar.
The main characters, Oz and Allen, have very similar personalities and go through a major life changing experience. Both series also have a dark horror type theme, many random comedic scenes, and a fair amount of action.
I realised that they are very alike. Both have contractors-well Chains are not the same as Innocence but still have some similiarities.
In both anime-s the bad guys seek the same thing as the good.
Even Alice has Allen's appetite
It's hard to explain, but something just seems similar between these two anime. Maybe it's the atmosphere, the characters, or even just the same genre...I recommend Pandora Hearts for anyone who enjoyed D.Gray Man, and vice versa.
The main protagonists both have a tendency to act like "my life doesn't matter since I don't have anything important to me anymore" aka they seem a bit suicidal.
The series both are very similiarily executed. They have a love for details, well shown hilarity and a nice dark gothic athmosphere.
Both series have lovable characters who sometimes even act similiar.
In both animes there is a group of main characters who has to fight monsters, and the monsters are similar: called by people to help them solve their problems but possessing the caller instead.

D. Gray-man is much like Trinity Blood visually and even vaguely with the premise. At first glance, when i first started watching Trinity Blood I actually thought i was watching a new D. Gray-man episode. While in Trinity Blood it is a battle between humans and vampires, and even vampires with differing views, D. Gray-man is fighting between Akuma and the humans. They both have similar organizations, D.Gray-man the black order which fights demons, and the Vatican in Trinity Blood which also fights evil.
Both animes have similar people who act like 'exorcist' to get rid of demons or monsters.
Worth watching and good story on D.Gray-man!
Trinity Blood: it's the church vs. vampires
D. Gray-Man: Innocence vs. AKuma
Both are darker, more serious action anime, focusing on the fight to preserve peace in this world and save the human race from evil. Where Trinity Blood has vampires, D.Gray-Man has demons.
Both are about a group of people from the Vatican fighting evil. The main characters of both shows are white haired cheerful guys that transform in some way to fight. Trinity Blood takes itself a little more seriously, but both shows have a similar setting and feel.

good guy vs bad guy and special weapons...
Ok, I have just completed watching BUSOU RENKIN, and it is by far the best I have seen. I will not put spoilers for those who have not yet seen/completed it, but, I do have to say, if you have not, GO>>>RUN>>>! You will most assuredly not regret it. If you like action, drama, romance, comedy, and just having a kick ass time, you will like this anime. It is Bleach, Full-Metal Alchemist, and D.Grayman all rolled into one. You will see the similarities. If you like those three, I don't see how you can't like Busou Renkin and fall in love with the characters. For you romantics out there, like myself, that still like a little action ( I mean FIGHTING ACTION PEOPLE, whispers and smirks--"so juvenile") you will enjoy it!!!
Both these animes include organizations that contain fighters who use weapons to destroy the enemy. D.gray-man uses weapons called innocence to fight akuma and Busou Renkin use weapons called Busou Renkin [Arms Alchemy] to fight homonculus, both involve activation.
Both have lots of action, with each character possessing a unique weapon originating from a special substance (innocence/alchemy). The humorous moments are very similar too in terms of animation.
Seems like your run-of-the-mill shounens at the starts but turns out to be something more.

both are mystery. both main characters were orphaned. both main characters is searching for themselves.
really similiar with 07 ghost
The first anime what enter to my mind, when I watch 07-ghost was D.Gray-man. The main characters are very similar - both lost father and has knock from past. And also they have strange power bound with their eye...
Black order from D.Gray-man remind me little Militery Academy from 07-ghost. I don't want write spoilers, but also the enemies from 07-ghost will be someway similar to akuma from D.Gray-man.
Both have a church/god related plot and power system.
The main characters are kind of similiar, they both share a mysterious past and a mysterious power.
Both have exorcists who expel evil spirits.
They all have different powers that they use to battle the enemy. And just like Allen belongs to the Exorcists, Lafon belongs to the 17th platoon.
The main chars have joined a group and are fighting monsters. The world is getting destroyed in both.
D.Gray is most epic amine that i ever seen... But now it have something that can be intresting too
Both have a guy who seems innocent on the outside, but have special powers and connected to secret organisations which battle against certain phenomena which affect people within the city; all part of many principles tying up to form a large plot. Both have the same dark supernatural power which takes over certain people which they must overcome.
Not that similar as far as plot is concerned. Both have a dark atmosphere. I just think if you like one then chances are you will like the other.
The general flow and feel of the animes are quite similar. I don't really know how to explain it.
Somehow Daisuke makes me think about Allen, because they´re both clumsy, sensitive and generous.
D.Gray Man has many similarities, such as an order who kills monsters, unique weapons and so on.
Both are action series with a darker tone to them, and both focus more on characters and are more character-driven than what normal action series tend to do
Both series are shounens (but they can attract females too ... )set in XIX century(but they aren't really historical anime , to be precise , XIX century "setting" it's only a background to supernatural events which are taking place ) :both have detailed art , lot of action and good humour .Even some elements of their plots are the same : mostly fantasy beings like demons (IN BB there are more creatures than demons ) , but with a slight difference- in D-gray-man humans and demons can't coexist together, and in BB they can (Sebastian is Ciel servant), and they are completely different - in BB there are wise and human-looking ones demons in D-gray man Akumas look like a mixture of fridge and some strange cleaning tools ;P.
What is more, the main characters are pretty similar .Sebastian form BB somehow reminds me of Tykki Mykk, with his mannerism, politeness and , equally, behaviour .Ciel looks like a a male version of Lenalee (compare pictures of these two and you will see what I meant ^^), but his char is much closer to Kanda's - he is cold, respectable and intelligent.
Both series take place in a victorian era and have occult themes, such as demons. The characters and plot are very different, but are both appealing and interesting. They are both unique series filled with loveable characters.

Just like the manga I find Letter Bee and D.Gray-Man quite similiar.
Allen and Lag both have special eyepower, they have bit of same personality, they join organizations which make 'em go to journeys and the overall feeling of the series is quite similiar except D.Gray-man is bit darker than Letter Bee.
the hero have the same hair style and power eye, and travel around the world helping people , he and alan walker have the same personalty .
It's all about Akuma's.
Well, you can say that Dante is an exorcist himself.. And also, he looks A LOT like Allen Walker from D. Gray Man.
Both are about destroying demons, but the main plot is different.
Both are full of action and are interesting to watch
Both Allen and Hayate share the same personality..
They always end up helping other people, they both look kind and cheerful but also have funny dark personalities..
And not to forget that they also share the same unlimited "I can do anything" thing..
And lastly they share the same childhood experiences. Not exactly the same though..
Any how, however you see it they are the same <3.
hayate's type of comedy is very similar to that of the filler episodes of gray man i.e. the Komurin episodes. Also Alan's work to pay off his masters debts is similar to Hayate's parents debt of 150,000,000 yen
but Hayate is purely a comedy series.

Both Letter Bee and D.Gray-man are quite similar in many ways. Both main characters have special eye powers, they both join an organization which means going on missions to different parts of the world, interacting with new people. They're pretty different in terms of story telling, though if you enjoyed D.Gray-man then i don't see why you won't like Letter Bee.
The main character in D.Gray-Man and Letter Bee are EXTREMELY alike. They're both guys that have something wrong/different about their eyes. They care deeply for other things like akuma/exorcists or for people/letters. They both have white/silver hair, and the two characters join an organization of some sort. (It being Black Order or Letter Bee)
Letter Bee and D.Gray-Man have different plots but are still fun to watch. :)
It is set in a slightly different world. I wouldn't call the settings similar but the plot certainly is. Kiba is about a guy named Zed (Allen) who excels everyone's expectations with his fabulous powers (Spirit Shads / Innocence). He is quite an outcast but wants to protect his friends dearly. He has to stop the world from being over-ruled by Hugh (Earl) and his crew (Noahs). They are similar in pace because both animes seem to drag a certain parts and flourish at others.
I would recommend this anime to anyone who is into dark plots and action packed animes.
when i watch D.Gray-Man it reminds me of this series
It's still got the whole ghosts/demons thing going on. I don't know; I find them both similar and enjoyable.
Like Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball and others, it's the adventure of a crowd of heroes who want to save the world from the evil guys. Each one with his own personality and powers.
Similar 19th-early 20th century setting. Both worlds have some form of special ability (alchemy in FMA and Innocence in DGM) used by the main characters. Both main protagonists are 15-year-olds who have a strange arm. Both also have a group of villains with secret motives.
They both have characters on a quest, and are both action/adventure. They both have monsters, and have a length interesting plot.
Besides D.Gray-man being all about exorcists and akumas and zombie-loan being obviously about zombies, the characters that are involved and the pace of the anime themselves are similar. Good, quick and entertaining story lines. Both worth watching.
The most similar thing between these two are characters. If you like the relationship between the main trio in D.Gray-man, you'll love Shito and Chika.
Both anime deal with akuma, except d gray man has more...... the main characters in each anime have abnormal powers. if you like watching fighting with powers in them, then this is for you.
Both involve spirits that are in need of healing either by defeating them as demons so their soul can be set free or through exocism. Involves gore & a spooky feel to it.
both main characters have troubled pasts and fight against demons of a sort, youma/akuma, as well as discover teamwork of a sort and while kaze no stigma has more of a romance theme, they both include action.
Both involve exorcists fighting against akuma/demons. Also the main antagonists in the two series are similar, both causing the disturbance of peace by producing/exciting akuma/demons.
D.Gray-man and Yuu Yuu Hakusho are both about a few youngsters who have special powers. They become friends while fighting non-human evil. As time goes by they become stronger. Both groups have serious and goofy characters, and lots of humor.
Both animes have protagonists who call forth special powers. As they are the good guys, they use their powers to fight evil, be it akumas or a big company with bad intentions. They fight not only to protect their worlds, but also to protect their friends and loved ones. They try hard, but not always succeed.
Both animes contain the same type of heroes and villains. The villains believe that the world will be a better place if there are no humans; therefore they want to annihilate them. The heroes of both stories do not agree, they fight against the non-human villains. They fight, grow stronger, make new friends and comrades and lose them too. Both stories have a tragedy feel to them, but like always the good and not the evil wins in the end.
These animes are similar in that they both mention signing a contract with the devil (Millenium earl in d-gray man) to turn into a demon
The main characters in D.Gray-man and Trigun are very reminiscent of each other. They both strive to create peace and harmony wherever they go, knowing that they inevitably bring destruction with them. Their pain becomes a source of strength in tight circumstances, however.
In both D.Gray-man and Rave Master the good guys collect innocence/raves to fight the evil they oppose. The bad guys want to destroy or get them for themselves so they constantly send goons to fight the good guys. There are many dangerous battles, and as the times passes by the good guys gain more powers, become stronger, and make new friends.
though the caracters are fairly familiar, the biggist reason for similarity is the style of fight with magic.....saying that one magic user have different types for their prospective abilities..
In both D.Gray-man and Project ARMS there is a group of youngsters with special abilities. Both groups become stronger as time passes by and they fight stronger opponents too. Their weapons also evolve. In both animes the antagonists were formerly normal humans, some became monsters by choice while others did not.
while the stories are very different the feel of them reminds me also both shows deal with the light and dark side of any situation I think if you like one you will most likely like the other
Those two animes are similar in a strange way, I can't quite explain the similarities. But anyway, if you like D.Gray-man, you mite like Persona ~Trinity Soul~ as well. I guess the the supernatural abilities make themsimilar...
there are alike in a few ways, one there are groups trying to hunt monsters that kill people, two there are even more powerful people that make the monsters, and tree there is a character in each with a left eye that has a strange power because of a cures.
Its different from other animes! I think if you love D. Gray-man you will love this. ^^
They both fight evil beings. D.Gray-man = akuma, Rental Magica = ghosts and other beings, however rental magica also rents out magicians to people for their uses. Also both Allen Walker and Itsuki Iba have eyes to help them do their job.
Both animes are set in a fictitious world, full with aggression and war. If you liked this Anime, you will Like Code Geass too^^
they're not that similar accept for the fact that there are not quite normal people fighting demons and saving normal people. Oh, and there are ewven stronger people out to get the protagonists by useing the demons, if you know what i mean. and if you don't to bad for you.

Shonen, with lots of great characters fighting against evil, as is typical of shonen anime. Whereas Shippuuden tries but fails to be serious, D.Gray-Man pulls off the serious mood with grace.

I really don't know why, but the first half of D.Gray-man and the whole of Zettai Karen Children sort of feel similar even though ZKC is no where near as serious as DGM. Allen and Shiho are pretty similar to be honest as well, which I find funny xD and both series are pretty lolsome too.

They both involve supernatural beings and the main characther(Allen/Yoshimori) are trying to protect something and getting stronger for a girl. There are some differences, like in d.gray-man they fight akumas and in kekkaishi they exterminate spirits, also d.gray-man has a more complex story and more episodes. Both of the series are from my point of view excelent and are worth watching.

Even though their storyline were different, there do share some similar points. The animation quality were quite similar. There had enjoyable characters. There both focuses on comedy, horror and supernatural stuff. When I watch this, it remind me of D.Gray-Man. So,if you love this series, you may like or love D.Gray-Man. Try it out.:D
