Think of the most horrifying, depraved thing in hentai you've ever seen. Thinking about it? Great, now multiply that by ten and you've got yourself an episode of Night Shift Nurses.

I would actually recommend that you heed the warnings given to this hentai--don't plan on watching this unless you're well prepared. I made the mistake of letting Night Shift Nurses be one of the first hentai I had ever seen, and I was scarred from this form of media for a while. There's one thing I'll always give to this hentai: the images you see will stay with you indefinitely.

It's quite a lengthy series (most hentai last perhaps four to six episodes on average), so there was a lot to get into. The story follows a man who goes from being a doctor-in-training to when he actually becomes a practising gynaecologist. There's one thing to count on with him--after a visit, you'll get your "lollipop". The problem is where you're going to get it. The doctor is a maniacal sex fiend. And in his hospital, he is God. Or maybe it'd be more accurate to say he's Beelzebub, as most of the hentai follows his "experiments" with the nurses in which mass sexploitation, rape and frighteningly intense and perverse BDSM occurs. It's no different from a million other hentai in which an awful man forces tons of women to have weird sex with him, but the delivery of these scenes in Night Shift Nurses is fairly decent. It manages to weave a story about truly upsetting and vomit-inducing corruption in a hospital filled with women who cannot refuse the doctor's whims.

As for the art, it is actually pretty good. The animation was rather tight and fluid, and the (nauseating) sex scenes were quite fluid (not to mention fluid-filled). Even now, Night Shift Nurses looks a lot better than some of the hentai being produced now. The colouring sometimes got a little off, but overall, the hentai has good production values in terms of the art.

The sound has piano pieces for the most part. It is a decent score that serves as the backdrop to depravity in motion. Just be warned watching this in English. The voice cast sounds highly unprofessional and the delivery of the lines is rather forced and choppy.

Now, here's the hard part. Talking about what kind of characters are in this hentai. Mostly ones you hate, but I'll sidestep that for the moment. The doctor is demented. There's no getting around that. Is he a good character? Well, frankly, on a psychological level, he's quite interesting. On a human level, you just want him to be lit on fire and burn to the ground. In the beginning, he comes across as a man who is deeply involved in his vocation and who takes up his profession for his undying love for humanity. At least, that's the image he cleverly perpetuates to unsuspecting women. Once given his power to act as a doctor, his true nature is revealed. He exacts his sadistic perversion and megalomania on women through the form of humiliating sex and rape. He's actually quite cunning, and comes up with creative and sickening ways of "doctoring" these young women. It's not just about corrupting their bodies--it's about corrupting their minds. On a level of psychological analysis, the doctor is a good character. The nurses, however, were pretty much failures as characters save one or two of them. Mostly they are creatures to be pitied.

Night Shift Nurses is not a series I ever want to experience again. One viewing was certainly enough. One viewing may have just been too much, actually. The sex and sexual scenes are cringe-inducing and jaw-dropping. They aren't bad--they're just terribly messed up. It's the sort of thing that can leave you numb and shaking, especially if you aren't used to watching hentai. It certainly wasn't an enjoyable experience, but it is a rather unforgettable one.

For the more hardened veterans of hentai-viewing, then you just might want to see Night Shift Nurses. It is the Holy Grail of hentai, having nearly every type of fetish imaginable. Plus, if you are a seasoned hentai fan, then maybe the shock value won't be so intense. But I do warn the amateur viewers, it may be best not to eat anything before watching Night Shift Nurses.

Night Shift Nurses is about a really ugly 'doctor' whose favorite hobbies include: blackmail, tying up and/or gagging the hot nurses at the hospital in which he works, performing experimentation on them, seeing them get wet, drinking bodily fluids, and, if there's time, torturing them by forcing them to look at, and do lovely things with, his equally ugly penis. As you can tell, it's hard not to sympathize with such a hard-working character. Besides, you have to understand that this is set in a world where women are sadly suffering from retardation along with alarmingly low self esteem. The female nurses' best defining character trait is that they don't hesitate to wear lingerie underneath their skimpy pink outfits at work.

Rapists, serial killers, and every other psychopath, unite! There's no need for you to search endlessly because your dream porno is right here. Don't worry because you will see plenty of material which demeans women in every possible way. Night Shift Nurses manages to make sex look as erotic as genital mutilation. But then again, that's because a majority of the sex here is rape. Not just rape but very violent and graphic rape. Not only that, but rape that ends with many women ending up loving it. If that doesn't scar someone for life I don't know what will. On second thought, inhumane acts never cease to amaze me so I'm sure there's stuff out there that will more than satisfy my masochistic desires.

Not that it really matters unless you're one of the perfectly sane people who enjoyed watching this, but the animation is pretty good considering its pornographic content. I appreciated the animators' decision to make it as lifelike as possible by adding endless supplies of bodily fluids oozing out of these extremely sensitive women. I watched a man deceptively humiliate women for his own pleasure for about 5 hours. I will say that I feel like the experience was enlightening in a way. I wouldn't be surprised if I temporarily became asexual as a result of this viewing experience.

On a more serious note it does amaze me, the horror that the unrestricted imagination can create. This is a very twisted visualization of what it really means to be in an elongated state of terror. The actual plot is just as terrible as the characters but what really stand out about this hentai are the frighteningly realistic reactions of some of the nurses(that is, before they start acting like idiots later on). The mixture of both terror and utmost humiliation on the face of a nurse after the amused doctor discovers her body loved one of his torturous experiments is painful to watch(not that this whole series isn't). Unfortunately, while it starts out slightly promising(for a porno), the story ends up being complete trash and it literally does crap on the characters.

It does bother me that this was most likely made by sane people. People with families and happy lives. People who wouldn't dream of doing the things depicted here. Maybe that is what really scares me. read more
