Both are girls with a dark past and have endless misson that they are bound to,
but may want to be relesed from. I only recomend the Miyu OAVs be/c the series
was a bit disspointing. the oav story was much better.
They both have the same feel to them, Miyu and Enma Ai also have similar personalities. If you like one you will definitely like the other, they also have episodes were people die, and there's not always a happy ending.

Simmilar main character -girl fighting against evil- same animation, highly recommended if you like anime retro.

One point of similarity is the background music. Both are very good (better in Miyu) and it express the suspense that needs the work.
Also both are horror stories where there are always crimes.
Miyu is more than vampires and superpowers while Karakuri is more detective

Both series are about vampires. Kikoushi enma is modern and Vampire Princess is vintage.

Another atmospheric anime from the 1990s, it also dwells on the nature of right and wrong--in a difficult situation, what choices are the "right" ones? The ones that bring the least suffering, or the ones that serve the most justice?

The Anime are similar in style and the main female character who runs next to the main character is very similar as well. The story is dark and the animation is an old school Gothic style.
