It's quite similar considering that Both Black Cat and GetBackers share a main English Voice Actor (Jason Liebrecht plays both Train and Ban in both series respectively), As well the music is done by Taku Iwasaki in both series. The fact that both series have goofy characters like Sven and Ginji and the more serious character like Train and Ban. Means this is almost a clone of it.
in both animes the protagonist will do anything for money, although in get backers it is more to get back something lost or stealed.

The similarities between these titles are a bit random but nonetheless very much there. Both series have an overall dark atmosphere but still inject a bit of comedy every so often. Plotwise, both involve a small group of men who go on some sort of retrieving mission. Finally, both are most worth watching for characters and their dynamics rather than any sort of plot or action they contain.
Get Backers is more light and comedy than Darker Than Black, but the themes of powers is the same, and both series has main characters that manipulates electricity in similar ways.
It is similar to Get Backers because like Ginji and Ban, Dante is also unlucky in terms of money and luck.
The jobs in both Anime are similar and the characters have similar powers. On top of this the characters have similar personalities. There is also lots of action and similar styles.
VERY different people work together. A themes of partnership, friendship and mutual assistance were shown very well.
Ban mido in GetBackers is kid of the same person in a way he uses his left arm to use make a move called snake bite and Touma Kamijou uses a movie that destroys magic and the are preformed in the same way and people have natural ability's like a girl has lighting ability exactly like Ginji Amano in GetBackers

The same ability's but a hole different story and show

the plot is not at all the same. but it has the animation technique, and many facial expressions are similar.
Both have characters that are a little off socially, have strong abilities, and who really like fighting teamed up with characters who fight, but are soft hearted.
it's a superpower charged shounen anime like Naruto Shippuuden, different characters with various power abilities, cool characters and some goofy ones (mostly cool ones :D)
if you enjoy Naruto Shippuuden, Naruto, Bleach, this is definitely the anime for you :)
-Both involve in helping other people with any job no matter how dangerous
Battle shōnen with a bit of comedy, super powers and similar characters.
In both animes, they have to do something for the rest in exchange of something.

Get Backers : A Group that retrieves anything that was lost in exchange of money
Ookami-san : A Club that fixes students problems in exchange for the student helping them out later.

D. Jackal = Bel ( Knifes )
Himiko Kudou = Bianki ( Poison )
Amano, Ginji = Lambo ( Light and Native XD )
Mido, Ban = Mukoro ( Mist )

Getbackers was probably the first one in mind when I saw Monochrome Factor. Both series showcases an array of bishonen characters, bromance, double/hidden personality (see Akira and Ginji), effeminate characters (see Shirogane and Kazuki), action, supernatural, comedy and the shounen-ai subtext that will make fangirls beg for more.
A largely unskilled but hardworking girl joins two uniquely skilled guys and does her best to help them out as they work through supernaturally-tinged cases that their unique skill sets permit them to tackle and try to grind down some of their debt. In Zombie-Loan they hunt down zombies that shouldn't be alive; in GetBackers they get back what shouldn't be gone.
Young GTO (Shonan Junai Gumi) is very similar to Get Backers in that they both feature a duo. In Shonan Junai Gumi , Eikichi Onizuka and Danma Ryuji(Onibaku) both try to find girlfriends and become the strongest gang in Shonan. In Getbackers ,Ginji Amano and Ban Mido try and make a living in becoming retrievers, by helping people "get back" what they've lost. Both animes feature a group of two characters who fight alongside each other against tough opponents and have hilarious moments together. Hope you enjoy them! =)

GBbaku - geddit? :P
If you enjoyed the action in Dragon Ball Z you will enjoy the fight scenes in Get Backers! Like DBZ it has a great cast of wonderful characters with awsome abilities. Enimies become friends, everyone helps out, and like in DBZ, the most powerful character always has a smile on his face!
Both revolve around charaters with special powers
They also just have a similar feel about them
it was really worth watching.
If you liked one you will like the other!
~Slap-kneed humor ~Many bishounen ~A group of guys get teamed up to do odd jobs
These anime have many similarities.
In both the character design is good, but the animation quality goes up and down.
Both have some genres in common, such as action, drama, tragedy, and some comedy to lighten up the mood, and themes in common, such as granting wishes, fighting with ex-friends, protecting the loved ones, and world destruction.
Both can be quite psychological, even though Get Backers has more shounen elements and is less serious than X.
Both are about people who have supernatural powers (such as controlling electricity, just to name one).
Both have an ensemble cast of characters, and many bishounen.
In both there are 2 opposite factions that fight against each other.
But above all, some characters are very similar, and many, if not all of them have a tragic past and/or are orphans (reason why grandparents are quite important in these series): there’s the innocent, quiet schoolgirl (Kotori/Natsumi), the cheerful guy (Sorata/Ginji), the computer freak (Satsuki/Makubex), the killer in a business suit (Seishiro/Akabane), the busty beauty (Karen & Kanoe/Heaven), the man who is telepathically connected to animals (Kusanagi/Shido), the blind girl (Hinoto/Madoka), the calm, blonde, and seemingly careless man (Yuto/Kagami), the absolutely amazingly gorgeous guy (Subaru/Kazuki), etc.
While the X anime is notably inferior to the manga, I think the Get Backers anime is better than the manga.
The shows both have a rather gothic look and are mystery based. The character designs have simularities, having a detailed look, yet not going overboard with the details. The characters also have depth in the characterization. The two main characters, of the two main male characters, one is serious, one is more comedic.
Both anime have similarity with people in them. Chosen people have special power, unique to ones existence, and both of them have small organizations who works for money (Get Backers work only in order to retrieve something stolen or lost while in Senkou no Night Raid work as retrievers of information).
While GetBackers and Gad Guard both go in completely different directions with their stories, they both have the same urban feel and similar character interactions. On top of that, they have similar upbeat music and intense action sequences. GetBackers contains a good bit more comedy than Gad Guard, but Gad Guard still has a fair dosage as well.

In conclusion, if you like the overall atmosphere of one of these series, you would probably find a sense of familiarity in the other and like it, at least to some degree.
They had the same director and they both provide good action and mix of shounen comedy.
