I wrote a weird review for season one of UtaPri (as it is apparently affectionately nicknamed), but you know what, I enjoyed the second season much more that the first. Why? I can't tell you. As someone who truly, with a burning passion, did not like the anime, I'm surprised I even made it to the second season. There's just something strange and creepy about this anime that made me feel such intense emotion, and the urge to complete it.

I may have liked this season more than the first, but the plot it still so, so shitty. Whoever came up with the plot for read more

If you enjoyed Ulta no Prince sama 1, then you will also enjoy the second season. Sequels are notorious for not being up to par with it's origional series, but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. This anime is lighthearted and just absolutely fun to watch. By no means is it going to be some sort of "drama masterpiece" if that's what you're looking for. The story had potential, but with the series only having 13 episodes it would be rather difficult to get too far into each of the main character's backgrounds. The comedy bits in this series kind of remind me read more

Nisenpaa (Hey!) Saikoo na LOVE (Get you!)
Hajimaru yo (Jump!) Yes! Happy LIVE (Syun!x2)
Omatase shimashita hoshi wo yozora e (We are ST☆RISH!!)
Ai wa Shooting star!! 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Ok, enough of that before I get accuse of trolling, what we have here is the 2nd season of the parent anime "Utapri,' so far only a few things have change but the anime as a whole still focuses on the musical genre, so how did I rate every category of this anime? Here's how:

Story: Fair 6, I need you....S....

Maji Love 2000% picks up the story where the first season left off. After making their - successful - debut, they are supposed to pick up the pace and become even more successful. They are to follow a special program while pursuing their careers.
I did read all the reviews before me, the general consensus seems to be that it is as good as if not better than the first season. I do not share that opinion.
In my opinion:

Story: While the story wasn't brilliant - not that I expected it from this anime - the first season, there was indeed more plot. To start read more

Anime: Skip Beat!
Both deal with being in show business and working under a company that trains potential stars. Rivalry becomes more predominant from both show to prove who can come up on top.

Has it's own comedic moments and a hint of romance amongst idols which is forbidden in the industry. It'll sure to entertain especially to a female audience!

Anime: Amnesia
The same shoujo who has a lotta male admirers, the only difference were, one has the members of the harem competing for the shoujo's affection while the other doesn't.

Anime: Kiniro no Corda: Primo Passo
Kiniro no Corda and Uta no Prince-sama both involve with music, one girl with many guys in a group & go on a competition. Basely the exactly the same thing except Kiniro no Cora has a story with interments instead of singing like Uta no Prince-sama.

Anime: AKB0048
both have to do with music, except that AKB0048 is all about just girls singing and fighting while Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 2000% is abou guys singing songs a girl wrote.

Anime: Brothers Conflict
Reverse Harem with lots of bishounen guys. They can all sing and dance!! Same voice actors from STARISH, Quartet NIGHT, and HEAVENS are in Brothers Conflict.

Anime: Hetalia Axis Powers
The character design and animation reminds me so much of Hetalia series. Similar personality too.
