Both have a team of main characters who fight using power battle armors. They are actually kind of the opposite in a sense cuz Samurai Troopers is guys in a fantasy setting while Bubblegum Crisis is girls in a Sci-Fi setting but they both have the same kind of rockin' ass music and they nakama hard.
There is a strong relation between the Claymores and the Ronin Warriors. Each are super-human warriors, and a hierarchy in power. Also, in each show, there is a human that becomes connected to the warriors. Both the Ronin Warriors and the Claymores each have a unique power or ability.

Both are about over the top badass shonen fighting with rockin' ass music. Also they are both by Sunrise so instant TENOUTTATEN!
Both animes are about 5 Bishounens who fight in armors of mass destruction. Both are by the godly company known as Sunrise and have hella good moozak. Also they were both part of early Toonami if your into that.
Both are fighting shounens with armored warriors and super powers. Also, both are inspired on mystical/legendary stories.
Both are shounens with armored warriors and powers based on elements, like fire, water, light, etc.
Samurai Troopers is clearly the shounen version of Sailor Moon, as they go hand-in-hand for their story, characters, development, and overall style.
Both are classic, must watch, old school anime with an identical plot: group of 5 teenagers fights against the monsters of an evil empire that wants to conquer the Earth. The above said kids have magical super powers (related to virtues in Samurai Troopers & to planets in Sailor Moon) that make them transform respectively in armored samurai and sailor scouts (the transformation scenes are extremely similar). Both of the group leaders (Ryo/Usagi) even have a feline pet/helper (White Blaze/Luna).
Sailor Moon, being a shoujo, has plenty of romance, drama, comedy, and also a better character development, while Samurai Troopers is more focused on action.
