I really enjoyed watching Aquarian Age. It provided a clever spin on the entertainment industry in Japan as well as the mysterious feeling that something else is going on under it all. Even though this anime series is tagged mainly as an action, there are very few times that actual physical fighting occurs,well...let me restate that. There are very few times that physical fighting occurs that you can SEE. Most of the fights take place in the blink of an eye...literally, or maybe the flash of a light. However the fighting did not draw me in, it was the struggle between Kyota and Yoko, and their love that could not be. The plot is filled with several twists and remains mysterious throughout.
Story: 9/10 Lots of romantic twists.
Art: 7/10 The art is pretty good, but doesn't really set itself apart from any other anime.
Sound: 6/10 If you're into Japanese love songs, you'll love this.
Character: 8/10 Each character had their own likable traits as well as problems.
Enjoyment: 9/10 I just couldn't stop watching after the 3rd episode.
Overall: 8/10 I recommend watching this!

Personally, I found Aquarian Age to be extremely boring and confusing, although the 'boring' part can be accredited almost entirely to the 'confusing'. There's way too much going on in the background to make a cohesive story line. The descriptions I'd read of the anime always made it sound like this epic, earth shattering story, when really not much happens in the end. If they'd taken out all the weird supernatural aspects, I think you'd end up with a pretty average romance/drama anime. And to top it off, they never even fully explain WHY there's a bunch of weirdos with super powers going around, nor is the main character all that disturbed by this revelation.
The art is okay, but certainly nothing special or memorable. Honestly, there's not really much to say one way or another about it.
The characters are probably the worst part of the show. There are just plainly too many to keep track of, and because of this a majority of the characters end up feeling flat and underdeveloped. To make matters worse, the characters that do stick around long enough to gain development end up making me wish they hadn't. The two main characters ended up being incredibly annoying and (Kyouta especially) fairly typical.
Aquarian Age's one and only saving grace is the music, and even then it isn't all that great. read more

The story of a dream.
Kyota Kamihura is a composer and singer of a group of garage, a bunch of teenagers who dreams of fame and try to turn their music into successes. But the way so far, has been generous with the little group of friends.
We have the other central character, Yokko's girlfriend kyouto, but to be honest it does not impress at any time. And imagine that this character is completely without salt to ignite a war for control of the world (a war that no human is aware of what is happening). One more thing: that such a war, foreign women are fighting, there are fillets of light, with powers and wild, animal forms ... totally nonsensical. Did not understand nothing! Okay, I'll explain.
According to the plot, there is a battle which began about 2000 years for control of all mankind. Three clans (Ayarashiki, Wiz-Dom and Dark Lore, the latter consisting of members monsters with a semi-human), made up exclusively of women, fight each other. But nowadays, new clans were formed with the same goal. One of them, this time composed of men who have a tremendous physical strength, is called "Mind Breakers, there's the" Evolution Girls Organization, composed of women with psychic powers, and the "Eraser", a clan that came from space with a power back only to destruction. Okay ... tá complicated to understand, right? But the plot is the same ... ^ _ ^ "
The story is very weak and, unfortunately, the characters are very poorly explored. Suffice it to say that I had to watch the anime more than once to remember the names of two friends of kyouto ... in the case, Jean, keyboardist, and Shingo, on guitar, forming the band TL Signal (Traffic Signal).
Just start watching Aquarian Age, and then a comparison is inevitable, and the soundtrack of Cowboy Bebop or NOIR because I can not imagine other animes that have a soundtrack as perfect as this. Just listen to "Prism", a song that is the big "hit" of anime, to feel what I'm talking about: perfect! Another is the opening theme of "Everlasting Love", sung by SeYUN, which is also excellent. Oops, I spoke a lot about the soundtrack! Sorry ... I got carried away!
The anime is the result of partnership between the studio Madhouse, Victor Entertainment and Broccoli, produced in 2000 and consists of 13 episodes. Aquarian Age - Sign for Evolution is a blend of special effects, 3D scenes that look like a watercolor, and a beautiful musical arrangement (listen !!!), and it's a series based on a "trading card game." "Aquarian Age Saga II - Do not Forget Me .." is the sequence of the anime, and was produced by Madhouse.
Worth seeing Aquarian Age?
Personally, I would say yes, the different animation, the characters blindshot at this idol kyouto, which appears only three times throughout the anime and says almost nothing but history, afe! Begins crippled, it seems it will take that gear and suddenly utters again and there is no fix: a grief! -_-"How would a colleague:" Remember the anime and get the soundtrack ... "
============================================
Sorry... me empolguei!
"Aquarian Age Saga II - Don't Forget Me..."
Vale a pena ver Aquarian Age?

Well...I got the Aquarian Age trailer in the DVD box set and I thought... Wow, that looks so cool. So I decided to check it out... The trailer exemplified the best moments of this anime: all of them
I watched and I watched until the last episode, secretly hoping the plot to unwind and the action to blow up my mind... but it never happened. Aquarian Age, was the anime that taught me that sometimes you just have to learn to drop a show.
