Synopsis

The war over control of a unified Japan, the Sengoku Era, is over and the Toyotomi army has won. Toyotomi has allowed his rival, Tokugawa, to live but since that final battle an evil ayakashi named Yasha reveals to Tokugawa that history says that he should have won the war instead of Toyotomi. Tokugawa agrees to the evil ayakashi power Yasha offers him, and the only person who can stop Tokugawa from ruling Japan and killing Princess Kaguya, who is the link to this alternate present, is Musashi Miyamoto, a young and brash man who follows the way of "Gun-do", which mixes together swordfighting with gunplay.

One thing I've noticed is that there are many different types of bad. There's the "cheesy" bad (see Batman and Robin), the "incompetent" bad (see The Last Airbender), and the "embarrassing" bad. But overall, there are 2 main types of bad: the "true" bad (where something that is bad really does suck), and the "good" bad (where something is bad, but it's so bad that it comes around from the other side and starts to actually be GOOD). If Master of Martial Hearts best represents the "rrue" bad, then Gun-dou Musahshi best represents the "good" bad.

Story - 10/10

How could a anime featuring a badass samurai killing demons with a pistol can be considered bad?, well... everything

But what a surprise that the creator of Lupin created this anime with he actually expecting no human being watching this, it's just throw a bunch of discombobulated Russian roulette-like doodles together assuming that everyone would get an DVD of the series will throw intro a pit of saltwater crocodiles after realizing her worst mistake!, with half the time. Musashi Gundoh doesn't even bother with actual frames that are filled with these awkward loud noises and it's like the animators stopped to lament their life decisions while ...

Now where to start on this show.

First of all, 10/10 for me, I loved watching this show, even if the subtitles that I used were probably fake.

PLOT- 2/10

This show is basically about a dual-wield gunslinger samurai named Musashi who battles a group of monsters known as the Ayakashi. Well, we call him a samurai because he has a sword, but he never uses it.

ANIMATION- 2/10

To put it lightly, the art was terrible. Some of the sequences that took place outdoors were photos taken of forests, rather than drawn. The animation, was...subpar, with a fight sequence involving a guy shooting a monster while slowly falling ...
