Synopsis

Power corrupts, and it when it appears that the once noble Queen Claudette's ways have turned to oppression and heretical persecution, it's up to a new generation of warriors to step up to the plate armor to bear arms and bare their naked fury in open rebellion! The odds may seem unfairly stacked in favor of the Amazonian ranks of the queen, doubly supported by her power of writ and assassins. But the incredible wits and assets of the dazzling array of daring damsels willing to risk their gorgeous skins and put their lithesome bodies on line against her, might just expose a few unexpected weaknesses in the queen's support!

It's safe to say that the first thing that comes to mind when talking about the Queen's Blade franchise isn't the characters or story but rather the well animated "plot". Seeing how much fanservice they can stuff into a 20 minute time span always seem to be the creators goal. Given the audience and fanbase that support this franchise that is to be expected but for some reason excessive fanservice just isn't enough for Rebellion.
You see as much as fans of the series love the "plot" it was also a plus that the characters and story had a decent sense of direction or focus to read more

Queen's Blade is one of the more infamous titles out there in TV anime. It's known for catering to nearly every fetish imaginable while at the same time having a legitimate plot with a very healthy dose of PLOT. Queen's Blade Rebellion is the third installment in the Queen's Blade franchise which extends across multiple different outlets of media. Rebellion is a direct sequel to the previous series and takes place several years after the last one. It features an all new cast with the previous characters making appearances throughout the show. The show itself is certainly different from the last ones, but it is read more

Story: I thought the story was okay for the most part. However, the only real problem I had with the story, was the lack of danger. I didn't really feel there was any real danger in this story. The story keeps talking about this huge uproar of the people and that things are bad. Judging by from I saw in this series, the people seemed to be happy and prospering for the most part. I can compare this to a movie or story about a zombie apocalypse without seeing any zombies.

Art: I liked the art and character designs with the exception of episode 2, the read more

Ok to be fair i actually enjoyed the previous seasons a great deal not just because a bunch of voluptuous babes were running around losing clothes but because the show honestly had a good story and I felt the individuality in every character. The character development in the previous seasons is what kept me watching this show so I expected a bit more from this season but it just falls flat. Honestly i feel like the people who wrote this were just getting lazy. They bring these characters together but I don't care about a single one of them. No one is developing at all read more

Recommendations

Anime: Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryuu no Rondo
They both have the same amount of Yuri and action except one is a more serious anime while the other was more of an excchi based franchise. However, both exhibit the same warrior shoujo who fights for justice.

Anime: Aoi Sekai no Chuushin de
Similarities:

Both have the same ecchi, fantasy, action and magic genre.

Both have the same intense sexual innuendos.

Both have the same situation where it is set in some distant fantasy land where there is war.

Dissimilarities:

One has an extra yuri genre, while the other has shounen as its extra genre.

One is anime has a mix gender warriors, while in the other has an all women warriors.

One has uncensored boob flash, while the other has a censored boob flash.......though it may depend as which link were you're watching from.

Anime: Ikkitousen: Xtreme Xecutor
Another anime with strong female heroines, fighting, great action.
reportRecommended by MoonXArtemis
Anime: Mobile Fighter G Gundam
They both feature a multicultural cast that fights for the control of the realm. Queen's Blade focuses more on character development and G Gundam focuses more on the hotblooded fighting action. They are also both fanservice shows, one is dedicated to people who like breasts and the beauty of a woman's figure and the other is dedicated to the intrigue of fighting robots.

Anime: Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls
Ecchi harem fighting shows about girls with weapons. The Rebellion harem is a yuri one tho.
reportRecommended by ZettaiRyouiki
Anime: Hagure Yuusha no Aesthetica
Both are bad ecchi fantasy fighting/battle series.
