I am writeing a review for this anime so that other person isn't the only one. XD
(will edit after more episodes are out..)

Remember, this anime is not really for Adults, it's for Kids, so don't go hating on it as soon as you watch it. It is rated G after all. So if your looking for something more Adult like, this may not be for you.

Story 7/10
A little girl who lives alone finds a Devil Baby in her bed and starts taking care of it. (and it can breath fire too. xD)
But that doesn't mean You won't enjoy it. I might even love it by the end of the series. :)

Art 7/10
The art is not bad, but also not better then other animes I have seen. It has bright colors and is vary...cute. It's a shojo. So you can probably imagine in your mind what it looks like. Bright Cute Colors. Big Eyes..etc. I don't mind it.

Character 7/10
Not much development yet (Only two 5 Minute episodes so I guess thats why..?) The main girl is alot like a ... cutesey shojo girl character.
Then we have her childhood friend and his friend. 2 boys. So far we know her childhood friend likes anime and that the main girl is scared of her childhood friend's friend. and he might like her..maybe. ?
Like I said, can't tell much with only two 5 minute episodes..Hope to see more from the characters.

it's okay. not my type of anime tho. If you like Cute Shojos, I highly reccomend it. =3
I don't really see it becoming one of the 'best shojos ever', but we will have to wait and see.

Chibi Devi is a cute show that can be enjoyed if a person is willing to really suspend willing suspense of disbelief. I honestly know that this show is geared towards a younger audience, but did the subject matter really have to be sugar coated as much as it was? I felt the story line touched way too little on the downs of having a baby to take care of and way too much on the ups. I've read picture books geared towards this age group which covers the ups and downs in a better balanced manner.

This story is really about how cute it is to have the baby and how much fun everybody gets to have. Babies aren't dolls, you have to take care of them the same way you do a pet. You also can't go asking mom and dad for a baby sister simply because you think it will be a lot of fun, particularly since they'll be doing all the work. Very few problems that come from raising an infant come up in this Anime, and some of the things mentioned are a tad silly, like it is the memories that they make that matters. Last time I checked, babies of this age don't retain their memories from this time period when they get older.

The characterization is what I expect of most shows for younger age range. It is simple and straight forward, using stereotypes and the characters lack any fatal flaws. Again, this is going to cause a major need to really suspend willing suspense of disbelief. That said, the characters can really grate on a persons nerves, particularly since I honestly don't expect any middle school student to act the way they do in this series. Aka... everything is based off stereotypes.

The shows strong point happens to be its art work and music. The opening theme song is catchy and memorable. The art work is crisp and fluid, not to mention cute. While the characterization grates on ones nerves, the voices do not. Anyways, pick this series up with caution. It will honestly be a quick watch, forty-five minutes, but not everyone will have the patience to finish. read more

Chibi Devil is a cute,little anime having a duration of only 5 minutes.It is intended towards kids,not that adults can not watch it.Sure,they watch it but only if they like cute shoujo manga or if they like short anime,so if you can't handle shoujo manga or short anime then I don't recommend watching it.

Story:-(7/10)

The main girl gets the responsibility to raise a child.On top of it,he is a demon.Will she be able to raise him well?

The story is pretty simple & is a nice break from the usual girl falls for boy just because he protects him,etc.So I like it for its shoujo charm.


Art:-(7/10)

The art is good & easy to look at.It is very colorful & vivid.The animation is also nice but still there is not anything which makes it distinct from other anime in terms of art.

The studio have kept things simple which is the most appropriate approach for this kind of anime.The As this anime is adapted from the shoujo manga of the same so characters have "shoujo-ish" traits e.g. big eyes.Nothing bad about it 7/10.

Sound:-(7/10)

There is no ending song & in fact no opening song if you do not consider that "Chibi Devil,Chibi Devil,Chibi Devil"sung in intro but it is a short series so it is not a problem.

The voice acting is nice.The Shin's voice actor has done well in bringing his angry yet sweet,a little bit tsundere personality while Honoka's shyness & timidness is also done well by her respective seiyuu.So 7/10 for this department:)I love how mao chan is voice acted.
Characters:-(6/10)

The characters are......very average & cliche.First,Honoka,I have seen this type of girl before a lot,the crybaby girl who can't make friends.Shin is somehow a little bit better but his type of character i.e."talking to the main female character angrily but does not hates her" is also pretty common.

Maou chan brings them closer as they become his mother & father respectively & keep their bond strong. He easily becomes jealous whenever Honoka gives her attention to any other child or person & does not go near anyone,he does not recognize.He may cause havoc due to these reasons.Especially that poor daycare principal gets the worst treatment:/

Enjoyment-(8/10)

This anime is funny plus it is a shoujo adapted one so I like it.So I recommend it to people who like cute little shoujo manga Otherwise, don't bother watching it for just enhancing your anime list since you will only end up hating it that way.

I'm reviewing this anime because the previous reviewers had only seen a couple of episodes, and I thought that a more complete review was needed. (Plus, this is my first review, so please forgive me for any amateur material.)

Chibi Devi! is somewhat like a Shoujo version of Beelzebub, ( I have yet to watch that anime, though I basically know the storyline) in the sense that a baby devil is being taken care of by the main character.

Style wise, the anime stays true to the manga; looking almost exactly the same: big eyes and lots of sparkles.

The flow of the anime (to me personally) feels a little rushed, but it might be because each episode is only 5 minutes long. The story progresses rather quickly, but I think most people will like it nonetheless. Of course, I personally don't think it will get very big, but it is a great way to pass the time between animes.

Overall, this is a cute anime that is very clean, sweet, funny, and great for kids or anyone who wants an anime that gives them that warm, fuzzy feeling. read more

As a result of downloading everything and watching everything without getting too picky there are some instances where I amaze, satisfy, disappoint, or curse myself for doing so. However, this is the first time I have ever scared myself.

I wasn't past the two minute mark when I was groaning in horror that I was sentenced to watching this kiddy stuff (not shit) for a full episode. So I did what I always do when watching something that doesn't capture my interests, watch the video run time every two seconds to see if I was at the end yet.

So I did it for this anime and was VERY pleased to see that it was five minutes long and I only had to endure for about two and a half more minutes.

That is exactly the thing that kept me going to the end of the first episode.

Story - It's like I said, a children's anime. A lone girl finds a baby devil in her bed one morning and I guess from then on she takes care of him (It's a dude). Oh yeah, the baby has superpowers. Practically it's a little girl's version of Beelzebub. Yes the target audience is little girls. Little boys will not find this anime entertaining. I doubt some of those little girls would really rather watch something else other than this.

Art + Sound + Character + Enjoyment - I have big balls.

Man... I'm the only dumbass reviewing this... I am pissed.

It's so cute and adorable you just keep wishing for more! It's not like other anime I watch but still I love it. I don't know whether it's because I just wanna see how they raise a devil baby or that I just love the idea of raising a child as a teen but I just love this anime

I know how hard it is to draw plaits I have tried to give them to one of the characters in my manga but it just hasn't worked out. The art is amazingly hard I am really impressed with how amazing the characters, and objects as well, are drawn!

Honoka, the girl in this anime is more shojo while she has a crush on the guy Shin which perfectly suits her personality, the way she reacts to him and the way she easily gets embarrassed when she's near him!

I enjoy this so much I can't help but give it a good mark! I just wish they were longer then I could watch more ):Oh well at least I still get to watch it right?

I love this anime almost as much as I love the anime Naruto/ Naruto Shippuden and although that might be a let down I have been watching Naruto/ Naruto Shippuden since the beginning and not once have I wanted to stop (: This anime deserves a 10/10 mark and if you think I'm over exaggerating then let me tell you I don't do that! And besides, if I didn't like it why would I give it that mark? Hmf! Haha kidding x
