Morita-san has a similar style of "realistic" slice-of-life comedy, and is presented in short episodes (much like Azumanga originally was).
Very similar slice of life comedy

|
Both are 3-minute long comedy series, and Morita herself does a cameo in the first episode of Recorder to Randoseru.
• Same 3 min. length
• Same producer
• And even *characters recurring*
*Mayu and Hana*

Both are very short Comedy, School anime.

Both are pretty much the same: both are about highschool girls talking and doing random things, and both are short and school comedies. However, in Morita-san, there is more animation while in Double-J, there is really little animation expect the ED.

In both the main protagonist are lonely girls, they don't relate to their peers but gradually they known companions with whom begin to relate.
In the case of Morita is because he thinks too much before saying things while Aoi prefers to be alone (until a childhood friend appear).
Also both series are formed by short episodes of 3 minutes.
The difference is that Morita-san wa Mukuchi is more comedy while Yama no Susume is more slice of life.

they are so similar that you wont believe it, a couple of girls and their normal lives, how they interact with each other during school, and a little perverted puns, and the girls personalities are surpringly similar

Both are very short and funny slice of life comedy series.

|
Both are SoLs + comedy with quiet MCs who tend to think a lot and have the same seiyuu.

|
Both are anime shorts only about 3 minutes long~
Though one may be about the lives of Highschool girls and the the other the life of a kitten, both detail short fun Slice-of-Life adventures that leave you feeling cheery afterwards~

|
Both are about "cute girls doing cute things" and have a slight shoujo-ai feel to it, though it's a little bit more than slight in Yuru Yuri.
