Both have love triangles in which other girls fall in love with the main characters "destined one", and vice versa. I think Hana Yori Dango is better, but they are both really good love anime

Just like fruits basket and Ouran High school host club, hana yori dango has that aspect of reverse harem. But hana yori dango and Ouran high school host club both are stories about a poor girl attending a prestigious school for rich kids. Both poor girls are independent and full of life so all the rich guys are interested in her life and spirit and the differentness. Both anime are wonderful and both are a must watch.

Hana Yori Dango and Peach Girl are both about love triangles. (or squares)

It may sound like a long shot , but these animes are really similar. In both of them the main focus is romance, strong female lead , and charming/sexy/ dangerous male one. The differences is that in Kaichou wa Maid -sama we have one super cool guy and here we have four. Don't worry though we still have happy ending, only with the difference that in Kaichou wa maid sama it's clear with who , and in Hana yori Dango it takes some time :) But I am 100 % sure that if you liked Kaichou wa Maid sama you will like Hana Yori Dango  read more

In both animes the female protagonist is an outcast and are negleted and/or bullied by other classmates. However both girls seem to attract the most popular guy in the school despite their social status. They also indure many struggles such as abuse and crude jokes by their classmates and often had to deal with the dangerous jealousies of the other females who felt they were better. I loved both of these anime and it really shows how the underdog despite their disadvantages can be happy and have it all to.

reverse harem, however hana yori dango is more of a relaxing comedy show, while hanasakeru seishounen is more of a serious and motivated anime. also hana yori dango is based more on slice of life while hanasakeru seishounen is more leaneant on the political side. both animes are decent so if you like one of them i definitely recommend the other

Both KareKano and Hana Yori Dango focus mostly on the life of a group of high school students. UNLIKE ALL the general drama/comedy anime, in both Karekano and Hana Y Dango we are shown the troubles DURING the relationships, instead of watching a bunch of guys racing in circles troughout an ENTIRE season of episodes just so they can wind up the same as they started: STILL not dating, STILL no development, STILL chacing eachother! Both bring the feelings of the characters to us in a heartful way. It lets your heart into their. In both animes the main character is a simple girl with great character and  read more

both have four boys and a girl that's not so hot in first site... both have "flower" in the meaning of their titles... the leader of the boys fell in love/infatuated towards the girl... the rest are a little dense.

In the beginning, both series are about a girl developing some fighting spirit due to cirumstances, and the protagonists go through a number of trials. Also, in both the heroine has some trouble with represantants of the other sex. So if you like that, you may find both titles similar for the first episodes. However, then they diverge more and more. Very generally speaking, I think Skip beats puts more emphasis on the development of the main character, and Hana yori Dango more on the drama between the characters.

Both have a girl who fears the lead male (because the boy bullies the girl, and their relationship is bad and aggressive at the beginning), and then the relationship slowly improves, and they fall in love. Both have a poor girl and a rich boy.

Somehow to me Fruits Basket is similar to Hana Yori Dango as Kyo in fruits basket attitude at first was quite similar to Domyouji,Tsukasa then later both fall for Tohru/Makino Tsukishi

• In both the anime handsome looking popular dude fall for a unpopular girl. • Both focus lots on comidy but there is also some drama moment. • Neither of them have any ecchi scene.

Two romantic dramedies about girls from humble origins navigating the world of the rich and famous. 'Nana' is the far more grounded series, 'Boys Over Flowers' is more melodramatic and overthetop.

They both deal with school students thrown into a situation they are not prepared for. One is becoming a military individual, the other is a high school girl unprepared to be chased by rich guys.

Both high drama soaps with complicated romances. Definitely guilty pleasures. Will keep you excited to see what happens next.

Forbidden love between a rich and poor

The school drama is very similar. All together both have a very sweet vibe to it with strong female protagonists, that are feminine but quite inexperienced in beauty. Although their personalities are different, some things are very similar. Both animes have most screenplay time in the highschool. There are several antagonists that are similar as well.

Romeo x Juliet and Hana yori Dango are similar because they are both a romance of love. Romeo x Juliet: Capulets and Mongolias-Hana yori Dango: Rich and Poor. They both are opposite to the each others world. But somehow they must find a way to be together, even though their worlds are apart, they still want to love each other.

They are both older anime with a protagonist girl trying to figure out her feelings and how the world of romance works. Hana Yori Dango is more complex and longer though with more in depth characters and character development.

Both are great shoujo romance series about a couple no one thought would ever happen, whose biggest relationship obstacle seems to be themselves. Both also have great supporting casts who gradually get fleshed out and have their own great subplots.

It has a similar theme in that both have stubborn and edgy girls, whose parents have high expectations for (one for her studies and the other for a rich husband), gets into a romantic relationship with rich 'bad boys'.

girls harassed by rich guys and falling in love with them...

While these two mangas have characters with very different ages (Kodomo is elementary and middle school while Hana Yori Dango is high school) The dynamic is similar; A bad boy who is misunderstood and the strong-willed girl that creates a change in them. This is not a shoujo of giggling awkward moments, like nervousness about holding hands or kisses, but more about the serious and adult-like situations that the characters go through together. Situations quickly turn life-threatening and will pull the reader from laughing to tears. Hana Yori Dango had underlining themes of class separation and money while Kodomo no Omocha focused on problems in  read more

Rui and Len are both introverted characters who the main female protaganists in both shows continue pursing as friends both main females are intimidated by the rest of school because of their social standing in corda due to her lack of being in the "superior" musical division, and in hana because of the lack of wealth both female protaganists are strong-willed and persistant

There's a similarity in the relationships between the guy and the girl in both of the anime. Both of these anime have the dramatic touch.
