The second season of Working is even better than the first one. And of course my statement would be false if you’re not a fan of Aoi Yamada. To begin with, Working 2 is the continuation of Working! The original anime is about a family restaurant called Wagnaria, with a focus on its quirky employees, from the chef to the waitress even to the manager. I already make the review for the first one so I don’t want to go much into depth here, you can’t look at it. The first season left some issues, which is the development for the new annoying and read more

Anime sometimes appeals to action, adventure and over-dramatic plots to keep people watching the series...after all anime series before it, very few revolved around real life and work places. Well, Working'!! is one of them, and though the story is mostly nonexistent, all the humor around the episodes will draw your attention to it. It's on the same base as the original Working!! anime, but with new characters and more of the anime restaurant we begin to love so much.

How everything begins, and why everything happens. (Skip if you already read synopsis)

Following last season's end, Takanashi continues to work on Wagnaria with his fellow read more

~ Never Change, Senpai! ~

The everyday antics and documentation of life at Wagnaria continue into this sequel installment to the first season of Working...

Introduction / Context...
As a direct continuation, "Working'!!" or "Season 2" as i will refer to it to avoid confusion, picks up where "Working!!" left off. The prior season of 13 relaxing episodes, was a "minimalist-styled" depiction of everyday life within our favourite family restaurant. It embraced its identity as a heavily slice of life oriented production, and so favored character development, over complicated plot development; hence the "no story, no good" argument used by those who generally dislike the SoL genre. Once again the casual anime wins a prize.

I've had tons of fun and laughs watching it.

There is no "story" behind the anime but the fact that all weird people with their illnesses or addictions are working together in a family restaurant. The main glue that hooked me in was the characters. They are all unique and very well presented. They are all weird people with weird things going for them, and that's how the show is.

Its a super casual filer anime to watch while your waiting for your "serious" anime to come back with another season or the next episode.

I highly recommend it!

Anime: Servant x Service

Both involves people in everyday situations in their work place.

Both have the same comedy and slice of life genre.

The characters in one anime are in their twenties, while the characters in the other anime are a combinations of mix ages.

One is set in a gov't office, while the other anime was set in a family restaurant.
