Both feature kids who battle each other with gear/apparatuses (beys, bots). They both also feature competitive events, evil organisations & and lots of unique and stylish character/monster designs.

More niche titles from the monster battler kids anime era that spawned classics like Pokemon, Yugioh & Digimon. While never reaching the same heights as some of their contemporaries, these were both still fairly popular, enough to spur sequels and many real world products and games. Both feature a cast of young kid heroes who battle with their sentient creature partners (dinosaurs/bey bitbeasts), often against some form of forces of darkness.

Both later seasons of kids monster anime. Both feature large casts of child heroes who fight alongside sentient creature partners (bey bitbeasts/spiders). In both their respective kids follow a righteous cause against dark powers.

Children's anime that focus largely on kids battling against at first unforeseen dark powers. In both they battle alongside companion creatures (in beyblade it's slightly more convoluted with these companions inhabiting beys). Both also were used as marketing for real life toy and game products. Max and Gingka have their similarities with many of the typical child protagonist traits of the time.

Both more niche "monster battler" series with a cast of young child heroes who fight alongside sentient creatures (talking spiders in spider riders & cosmological beyblade bitbeasts in metal fight beyblade).

Both heavily inspired by Pokemon and the ensuing monster raising/battling kids anime craze. In both casts of young heroes battle alongside sentient creature partners and get entangled in larger than life conflicts against dark powers. Both have flamboyant & similarly styled character designs with the iconic spiky haired look of the era.

Both kids anime from the "monster battler" craze era, both however more niche titles in the space that were primarily made to market toys & games. Both feature young child protagonists that battle each other using gear, parts, apparatuses (bots/beys) that can be customised/modified & upgraded.

Two anime with constellations and astrology as core themes. Both have a pegasus wielding main hero, and important characters for the draco/dragon, phoenix & unicorn constellations. In both the characters use the various powers of their constellations to battle each-other, both also have tournaments.

Kids anime that both market toys and target the same audience. Both feature a similarly aged cast in a larger than life conflict against dark powers, in order to combat their respective threats the hero's must use the in-universe equivalent of the real world toys in order to do battle.

Both feature young prodigy heroes and their sentient creature partners (disc monsters & bey bitbeasts). Both have competitive sport elements incorporated and battles/tournaments that leak into the real world with their respective toys/games. Both have interesting and unique monster designs with their own specific distinct style.
