Minori Scramble!

Minori Scramble! is, well, exactly that. A brief, yet exciting, tale of Minori, the part-girl part-penguin android who has a frightening obsession with lobsters. Childish on the outside, childish on the inside. Minori Scramble! takes an innocent, though sincere, approach to friendship, family, and the importance of having fun.

Simply put, Minori Scramble! is all about the cast. While relatively small, each personality is equal parts outrageous and delightful. Leading the way is a happy-go-lucky, penguin obsessed father, whose antics and general conduct are quite hilarious. Next up is his daughter, Tamaki, whose upbringing has logically brought her to be traumatized of penguins. Shortly there after Minori, a friend with an absurd attraction to cute things, and the adventurous Aoba Shopping District President join the mix. Every personality featured is bursting at the seams with positivity, and consequently, watching the events of Minori Scramble! unfold is a joy.

Minori Scramble! is simple, comedic, cute, and most importantly, smile inducing. This particular line from the OP, “being happy is happy”, may lead one to believe that the sole purpose of the OVA is to make the viewer happy.
