Tsuda Takatoshi is about to begin his first year in Ousai Academy. His decision to enter Ousai was based upon it being close to his home and he paid no heed to the fact he'd be among the first boys to enter the recently gender-integrated school.

On his first trip to school, Takatoshi is surrounded by girls; the train has nothing but girls, the walk to school has nothing but girls and once he finally arrives he is approached by a group of girls and summarily appointed vice-president of the student council and, as expected, he is the only boy there.

Now Takatoshi finds himself surrounded by crazy girls who do nothing but horrify him with their candid conversations about feminine hygiene products and, what's worse, assume he's the worst kind of man, the kind who doesn't clean himself and watches porn all day long.

This anime seems to defy normal logic. When told "this anime's best points are SEX JOKES!" I am sure most people would lose interest. Yet, this anime somehow is able to put itself out there with other great plot filled tear jerking anime simply through the uniqueness it holds. The jokes are played well, the characters contribute well to the flow, and it seems to carry a universal appeal. Even if you don't understand the jokes, the art and music alone would be a good enough a reason to at least give it a try. Highly recommend to just about anyone!

"Dick-jokes the anime", these were the words that got me interested in this show, and it I couldn't describe it any better. It starts off seeming like a typical romcam/harem, but Seitokai Yakuindomo has its own unique genre of humor that sets it apart from the norm.

As a show with constant references to dildos, cum, sex, incest, boobs, panties, dicks and literally everything dirty you can honestly think of, in a show about high school girls, you would think this would be ecchi, but it's not. It's a slice of life anime with some of the most creative and unique comedy I have ever read more

Let me start off by saying that Seitokai Yakuindomo is probably right up there on the top 5 anime to have me in hysterics every 5 minutes or so, if you're looking for an anime full of laughs, simple characters and no emotional story so there's no drama, this is EXACTLY what you're looking for, if you're looking for romance, ecchi, love triangles, drama, sadness etc, you should probably give this a miss, although there are vague hints of love interest.

The story revolves around Takotoshi Tsuda, A male high school student who decides to transfer to an all-girls school simply because its closer to home, read more

Is it possible to make a comedy revolving almost exclusively around sex jokes, and not have it come off low-brow and immature?
The answer? Seitokai Yakuindomo.

Thanks to clever wordplay, good writing and actual punch lines, Seitokai Yakuindomo manages to craft a sex comedy that avoids the pitfall of simply being crass for the sake of crassness and is all the more funnier for it. No matter how many jokes about ejaculation they make. By taking their sex jokes down the path of wordplay and and humorous misunderstandings, (instead of making shallow references to dicks and expecting the audience fall over dead from laughter), Seitokai Yakuindomo read more

Both are about a Student Council with all girls save one boy, whom they are often giving a hard time.
B Gata is ALL about a Japanese school girl going against the anime stereotype that presents them as pure maidens. Yamada wants 100+ male conquests, and she's DETERMINED to use an inexperienced Mr. Nobody to lose her cherry with. Hilarity ensues when she turns out to be a clueless tsundere when it matters; resulting in much date-kiss-sex fail.

Seitokai is similar in the sense it presents school girls as sex-crazed nymphos, with only one train of thought. However, where as B Gata's humour comes from sexual failings, Seitokai's humour is built around two girls turning EVERYTHING - no matter how innocent - the male lead says into sexual innuendo.

Nothing that rocked my world but still much more enjoyable than pure-pure rom-coms and the like.
The concept behind both series involves a club at school where its members does fun activities on a daily basis. The main male protagonist gets himself dragged into the clubs' many activities.

Both series' club/council members have contrasting personalities that often creates different moods depending on the given premise of the episode.

There is a lot of humor in both series that takes place in the setting of a school life environment. Despite the majority of the cast members to be girls, there is little to no hints of romance. Rather, there is absurd dialogues and comedy.
Same inappropriate humor. Both male characters were forced into the club. One male with many females around him.
They the opposite in maid-sama they 80% boys and the Seitokai Yakuindomo there almost girl and no boy . and both focus on student council .
Both are comedy harems with cliche set of plot and archetypes, character interactions usually leads to off-color humor. They're also both in skit while SYD uses is more focus on slapstick, MTATTA uses a variety of meta-humor and comedic analogies. The manzai roles are also reversed between the series.
