Synopsis

When tragedy is about to strike, Satoru Fujinuma finds himself sent back several minutes before the accident occurs. The detached, 29-year-old manga artist has taken advantage of this powerful yet mysterious phenomenon, which he calls "Revival," to save many lives.

However, when he is wrongfully accused of murdering someone close to him, Satoru is sent back to the past once again, but this time to 1988, 18 years in the past. Soon, he realizes that the murder may be connected to the abduction and killing of one of his classmates, the solitary and mysterious Kayo Hinazuki, that took place when he was a child. This is his chance to make things right.

Boku dake ga Inai Machi follows Satoru in his mission to uncover what truly transpired 18 years ago and prevent the death of his classmate while protecting those he cares about in the present.

Background

Boku dake ga Inai Machi is based on Kei Sanbe's manga series of the same title. The anime adapts the full story of the manga, though it condenses and alters the events that take place in volumes 6 to 8.

The first two episodes were shown at an event on January 5, 2016, at Shinjuku Ward 9. A live-action movie adaptation was released in Japan on March 19, 2016 which also featured an alternate ending. A live-action Netflix TV series was released on December 15, 2017.

I always told myself that if I get to live my life being in a better place, I would realize one of the things I have always wanted to do: Start reviewing all of the anime shows that have given me life lessons and hope. Right now, as a 22-year old guy, I am finally doing it. I'm still not in the best place I could imagine myself to be, but I am digging deep and taking the step forward, alone or not, just like what Satoru has taught me, that line got stuck into my head, and whenever I was in a dark place, ...

Mixed Feelings
Erased (the title) the entire meaning of title was changed when translating from Japanese to English no idea why. It’s quite interesting if you would try to search if it relates to anime in some way. But for review I would say its a pretty good story line, the character design animation style suits it well no complains about that
But when you go in deep about the anime I don’t think you can get confused or anything in that it’s pretty simple and straight. Worth a try for some twisted ending but if you trying to find a great anime then you can skip this ...

“'What do you want?'
'I want...
I want a chance to do it all again. To do it... right.' Tears showed in the Old Man's eyes. 'How ever did it go so wrong, Temple? I had so many advantages. So many opportunities. All squandered. All slipped away like sand through a glass. So many disappointments...'
'Most of them you brought on yourself'
'Of course.' Cosca gave a ragged sigh. 'But they're the ones that hurt the worst.”
